FYI that Hotaru thing only happens when Relius is the one waking up. Depends on the timing.

After this match I'm gonna call it a night.

See that throw counter on oki? that's what happens when you try to use ignis DDs on wake-up with relius.

Another thing that makes Relius considered bad is the fact that he can't asynchronously go low/high with Ignis like Carl can with Nirvana. Every low/high Ignis has causes Relius to go "hey enemy, I'm about to use ignis to go high or low on you! make sure you block it!"

That being said I don't see him being a terrible character. He has godly bait and some really confusing cross-up stuff. It just comes at the price where you have to be willing to just wake-up and block.

Don't think it's the timing, it's the fact that I was dashing into you. I was so close to you that it worked. When Relius is waking up your 66.Hotaru simply isn't close enough (because Hakumen can't run).

Didn't realize you guys were posting on here until just now, lol.

GGs, fun matches. I really need to play BB more.

You should. Fighting you is like fighting mac only with less bullshit and more horseshit.

Hope you'll be on this Tuesday/Wednesday. That's my weekend and I'm much much less free when I play on weekends lol. :vbang:

Anyone want to FT10 during the 21st, around the afternoon? Accepting any takers, will actually play serious too! o:

It'd be fun to have fun lol

> just woke up

welp

I'll play again maybe tonight, but this time it'll be a smaller room since I want to play enough to warm up and such. Depends how many people are on.

Isn't that the same thing.

If we get a big crowd again we should just split the room into 2 3-mans. I'll be on again tonight as usual but this time I'll try to eat something before I try to play lol.

Are you on now mac? I just woke up as well, got about an hour before work. I work an hour earlier on weekends so I'll be home a bit earlier than usual.

Isn't that the same thing.

It smells the same, but the taste it leaves in your mouth is different.

Sounds like I need to keep doing what I'm doing. :3

But splitting people up isn't as fun. I thought of having everybody warm up in smaller rooms and then joining a big room later though for team games or something.

I could get on, but whenever I play right after I wake up all of my reflexes are slow. I'm still a zombie.

Hey that sounds like me! ZOMBIE-MEN vs. ZOMBIE-MEN GOGOGOGOGOOGOGOGO!

p.s. I can't believe we're talking about having to deal with too many people on XBL netplay.... :yaaay:

lol this guy tried to outbid me on ebay with 2 seconds left, I got him with 1 second left. stay mad

Is needing to warm up really that big of an issue? I have never found myself playing better after warming up.

It makes a definite difference for me. I noticed when I just go in cold I tend to drop combos and be off for most of the night, whereas if I spend just 10 or 20 minutes in training mode I'll be doing way better. But even if you go in cold you warm up over the series of matches, if you play a lot. If it's a 1v1 that's easy, and I noticed I tend to do better after 10 or so matches. I always lose at first and then start winning. But if it's a huge room then you end up playing like once every ten minutes so not only is your head not in the game anymore but every match is basically your first match. At least for me.

I noticed the same happened with Skeletal. He was getting bodied until he left the room to do some training and then he came back and dominated.

But it's not a big deal, it's more of a "do I want to go ham tonight or just fuck around with everyone" question.

I guess I am the weird one. I never use training mode to practice anything and never bother to warm up before playing (unless you count casuals before a few offline tourneys where I live). I just play against people and never noticed any improvement the longer I played.
