Shruikon Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 UP's are soft banned at our regionals. So easy to mark up. That seems super dumb and I've never even heard of such a thing happening before.
Kriegdrache Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Cor: Your regionals sound super retarded lol Symm: I dont really have a template. I just open up a 7275x4275 image and go from there.
Daedron Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Mu confirmed to be Tsubaki's worst matchup and worse than Tager vs Arakune/Valk.
bakahyl Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Mu confirmed to be Tsubaki's worst matchup and worse than Tager vs Arakune/Valk. O_O
Daedron Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 (edited) You don't agree? EDIT: Well, at least I can win 10% of the time I guess... Edited March 14, 2013 by Daedron
Daedron Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 (edited) You forgot her godliest move: 236A. EDIT: By the way Bakahyl, did you change your connection over-night or something? You seem hella unstable with me now and I noticed lag when I was spectating you against Yosuke91 too. Edited March 14, 2013 by Daedron
Daedron Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Well, at least I finally started getting how to play this matchup somewhat by what Kiba told me. and after I read that I also started blocking better for some reason since I literally blocked 90% of the 6B's you did and broke most throws...I guess that means I just need to read a book before I start playing this game and I'll become Spark. Still think 236A is hella-dumb though, thank god for the CP nerf to that stupid move lol. Oh well GG's.
Kujikawa Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 UP's are soft banned at our regionals. So easy to mark up. Yeah I've heard so many bad things about them. Get a PS3! I am getting tired of losing to Moo because of the ridiculousness that is this matchup. I have a PS3, I have a JP copy of BBCS:EX. I just don't own a stick compatable with the PS3. I can play you, but I will not be able to dash correctly, I will also jump grab instead of jump barrier and I can't tech throws while barriering cuz the macro that its set too makes me get TRM no matter what. Maybe someone is downloading alot in my house Are you from EU?
YukiBlue Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 What's wrong with 236A? I'm sure every month people find more shit to complain about with Mu My only complaint is the mad CH damage. And yeah Ashes, ill delete someone when I get home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Someone actually agrees with me about Mu having dumb shit thats too good. Personally, I would be fine if they just took her air and ground DP out.

Personally, I would be fine if they just took her air and ground DP out. She seems to be more rush-down based in CP, which is a good thing since I've always gotten that vibe from her so maybe, just maybe I and many others can consider her less dumb in CP. Though still annoying, but that's just how Noel is in whatever form. But yeah, I don't agree with her having that DP when she also has the backdash. There's a reason why Lambda/Nu don't have a DP after all.
Hutchy214 Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 . There's a reason why Lambda/Nu don't have a DP after all. theyre keep away characters and dont deserve a DP as its a free way out of pressure and if their under pressure they really fucked up atleast Mu-12 has to get fairly close to pressure and half her comboes arent burst safe like V-13 / L-11 and her DP isnt that good no range to it so it whiffs reaall easy if you bait it right :P

Mu needs that one knockdown for her to start her rushdown/stien game. Shoutouts to being on Dustloop within lesson doing no work whatsoever.

YukiBlue Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Mu is the saltbringer. She has a good defence. I personally think that the DP makes up for the complete lack of mixup. And that's actually unbiased for once Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kujikawa Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 In that case Tsubaki needs Inferno Divider since her mix-up is even worse than Mu's. Yeah, now I've gotten more used to it, it's piss. Can 6C/6CC be canceled by drive or anything else other then jumping? And I'm assuming you can just mash out of drive cancel things? Oh God why is this attachment here. And why doesn't it work for me.

And I'm assuming you can just mash out of drive cancel things? Oh God why is this attachment here. And why doesn't it work for me. Charge cancels all have a gap you can 5A/2A out of, 6A has a gap you can 5A/2A and even throw her out of. 6B can be jumped out of unless it's done from 5CC. 22C can act as a frametrap but it leads into such poor reward in Extend it's still not really worth it. And her overhead is 26 frames, so yeah... I guess unblockable is still decent though. Basically, you gotta be EXTREMELY unpredictable with your charge cancels. but in any case if you're up against someone who can react to it each and every time you literally can't do anything in terms of pressure and mix-up. Of course, people like that don't really exist, though Kiba comes close ;_; On another note, I got my silent stick parts today. Opened my own stick and messed around a bit. Found out my buttons are attached to a circuit board instead of with cables, so I tried to pry em out but I kind of broke em lol. So yeah, time to buy myself a new stick that I can actually mod. To be safe I'll get a madcatz stick since from what I've seen on youtube those have the whole "button attached to wires/easy to get out" type buttons. i think you can cancel into C/D DP and 236C/D not sure thought tested in training on jin that 6C/6CC can cancel into ABCD DP and all specials Wrong, that only works on hit. on block you can only jump cancel it and obviously it's so obvious that you should never ever try for a j.C afterwards, the only "safe" thing to do is to IAD backwards. I think(there's no reason to do anything else on block with 6C except backwards IAD anyways lol), and 6CC doesn't even go into anything at all, can only rapid it. Edited March 14, 2013 by Daedron
