COD is bad becuase they don't balance it properly allthe guns killyou really fast and while that would be true irl cod isnt supposed to be realistic just look at the way you getr killstreaks it tries to go down a middle path of realistic and outright game logic wich i think leads to outright terrible game design as their not exactly two styles that can work together

Objectively, if they were bad, people wouldn't buy them. They're not innovative at all, but they have a formula, and it works.

I don't like COD. As a shooter, I dislike it. Sure it can be fun, but fundamentally I don't find it interesting.

If I was to play a shooter I would play something like Quake, Counterstrike or Halo 3.

Also, I was trying to use GIMP, but I'm completely clueless and failed completely - it seems so annoying and tacky compared to Photoshop.. So now I have to wait till someone with Photoshop can help me (I haven't got it on this Laptop), in till then have a tour guide (<3).

Wtf are you talking outright terrible game design, what does that even mean, it's a fast fluid shooter that does what it says on the tin and achieves what it's supposed to.

Not saying you have to like the game, you at least have to appreciate it though

Also, just beat Rising. Man people wern't kidding when they said it was short, but it doesn't really matter considering how fun the game is.

I kind of wanted to let Armstrong recharge as I was getting super hype during the fight lol

Unfortunately, MGR doesn't hold me as well as Bayonetta. The combat isn't deep enough for me unfortunately.

Still a good game though, just not enough depth for me to really bother with it :V

I had as much fun playing it as I did Bayonetta tbh.

I may be bias though, because I'm a big Metal Gear faggot. Platinum Games need to do a game where you go around as the boss CQCing nigs all day now.

You can tell it was a rushed game in that regard. Especially with the sub-weapons and Mistrals being the only real useful one. Still, game does QTE's right and has the best bosses I've seen in a long long time. I'm stuck at the end of my revengeance difficulty run, can't beat Armstrong in the fist fight. Every move is a one hit kill and it take like 3 hits to do .1% damage ;_;

They did well with what they were given though, considering Kojima didn't really give them much to work with.

I found Pole-Arm to be complete garbage tbh. The Sai made Monsoon a ton easier and the Cleavers were boss against Excelsus. Other than that the Muramasa is just hands down better than everything else in the game fully upgraded. I finished revengeance with nearly all S Ranks (Fuck Armstrong) and Yeah.

Wish it got even harder, though. Game is too easy even on max.
