I'm not going to go there in the near future because of exams - I just want to know if there'll be any competition or if I'll have to just play against my brother.

Funnily enough, i saw you post yesterday in the Xrd thread and instantly started asking around on whatsapp if anybody knew who you were lol, was going to see if you could come down today because i think a few of us will be in HOG today playing GG but it seems you can't be, by any chance have you been down there playing GG before?? I did see that there was some GG play on TheWonderPark's stream archive, and that people were playing on Xbox 360 - were you one of those people? If so, how did you get AC - the game isn't released in Europe yet! Plus I don't have any dualmodded sticks, and I play on PS3, so...
ojay Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 AC is out in Europe........on xbox live. As far as ps3 goes, you'll need a US account, it's not really that tedious to setup and get funds for. I may have been playing on stream, if you saw somebody playing (probably badly) with slayer, it was me.

Kagura does look good fun though. Trying to sort out my Student Finance, it's a bit of a pain but I want to use University as a back up option if I can't get a apprenticeship within the next year. Btw, I'm glad about the rule change for Rules change regarding derogatory language. I agree that certain words should not be used. Edited May 23, 2013 by gamester grammar with the word "sword"

I agree that certain words should not be used. yer pretty much the same as arngrim. first game is really good but i enjoyed the 2nd a bunch too, the attacks were just OTT which was awesome, i remember the game wrapping up really quickly though. they should VP3 (pretty sure there was a 3rd valkyrie after lenneth and silmeria) for next gen, incredibly unlikely though

Oh, and speaking of London, I MIGHT be able to go there next Wednesday for the HOG (that's when it is, right?) to play Guilty/Blaz/Persona with some people. My college band and I are currently trying to get a practice room for Wednesday, so if that happens, I won't be going then. Still, I may just go later during the half term and visit the place to still play some things. So that might be happening.

If you will be down though I will probably come for a few games and see if anybody else can make it. Every Wednesday the Xbox machines just sit there unloved while those 3 games are played

Being British I can imagine not many of us are overly bothered about dropping bombs but hey-ho. Never found using the word "Gay" in an offensive way to be remotely funny / witty etc. (Never mind the others ones, such as the Chris G Special)
ojay Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 (edited) Tbh, GG is in something of an incubation phase right now lol and it's not helped by the exam season. We are trying to get something solid weekly going, likely on friday. Also frost (the guy who runs whatever its called on a Wednesday) says he wants to run GG as well (but tbh any time he says anything about GG I stop listening, likeliness of troll attempt 95%) On a (very) good day currently you'd manage 5-15 people that can play GG (to varying degrees) BUT whether or not they will be playing GG is an entirely different matter. If you are going to be around after the exam period though I reckon you might be in luck as a few people are picking the game up as well, here's hoping. Edit: I wrote all this then actually read what you asked...i'll see if anybody will be heading down tuesday - thursday (and if they aren't planning to I will try my hand at some brainwashing.)
