That one damn walkway, good lord. I made sure to riposte him off for good measure.

The Bed of Chaos was even worse.

Anor Londo not all that bad.......other than that one certain pain in the ass boss fight lol

also honestly the Bed of Chaos isn't that bad, I had more trouble with the Four Kings to be honest, go me with my low poise build lol

Btw. Was I inlcuded in Mr.Wallace's earlier statement, if so. Problem? xD

What did I just watch xD

I still need to get Dark Souls, I had good fun playing Demon's souls.

Dark Souls is one of the best games of this generation imo and I cannot wait for Artorias DLC. I'd probably still be playing it now but I've pretty much done everything and PVP is stupid easy with TWoP and Target Shield.

I know, right? You think the game's been hard up until that point (cough Archers) and then a fatty and his albeit fabulous pet cat tag-team you to death.

Ornstein and Smough made me rage so hard. Killing Super Ornstein was infuriating.

Ugh tell me about it, got it on my fourth or fifth try.

Trying manage your Estus use before actually getting to Super Ornstein was the hardest part.

I was unfortunate enough to have 0 humanity so I couldn't even have Solaire to distract Ornstein. I found that skirting around Pillars and simply taking your time was the best way to approach the fight. I think I was rocking the Cloth armour from Ceaseless Discharge (Forgot it's name...) with my trusty Magic Zweihander.

I really need to buy the game again and get into PVP..

On another note. Leeds Festival was awesome.

Ornstein and Smough was my favorite part about Dark Souls tbh. Best fight in the game.

Seconded!

I finally finished Persona 3. All I can say is: D:

Edit: Also I just realised how similar it is to (one of the endings) of Dragonball Z and Okami lolol

Minato is Jesus.

My favourite boss fight in Dark Souls is easily Four Kings, nothing can beat the atmosphere for that fight imo.

Yeah but I mean the whole Power of Friendship thing seems to recur in weeaboo fiction... maybe they've all watched MLP or something.

My favourite fight would be Nito if he wasn't so pathetic, all of his atmosphere and hype is god-tier.

Nobody think that Gwyn was the best? That atmosphere took my breath away. You defeat denizens of hell itself only to culminate in a bottle with an old man who is scared of the dark.

Posted

I did originally think that Gwyn was the most profound fight, considering you're fighting the burnt-up old husk of what was once the most powerful God, the fact that you've been decieved the entire game and the depressing endings afterwards... until I realised you could parry him and killed him in two hits with my goofy looking dragon-form. Seeing that thing get set on fire was more hilarious than sad.

The music to the Gwyn battle really took my breath away. It was just sad and melanchony, not the theme you were expecting going up against him.

It truly brought together the sadness of Gwyn's situation. That battle was more of a stylised euthanasia than a duel.

If you haven't, just watch it on YouTube or something.

Unless you really like grinding...

Dat avatar, Doyin i'm so proud of you right now.

My first playthrough. I somehow managed to kill Hanged Man, somehow, and after that pretty much mashed through the rest of it as quickly as possible. I think I only maxed like half the social links but oh welp :v: I also bought P3P since I actually wanted to use my Vita but I'm probably going to play the FemC's story sparingly since it's essentially the same. Plus, I have a feeling it's going to be alot less badass :v

Yeeeah I watched a LP of the Answer. As much as I love P3 its gameplay is pretty bad, I don't really have the inclination to sit through another dungeon crawl.

I also just realised how similar the ending was to FFIX... I swear there has to be a name for this 'the-power-of-friendship-to-overcome-world-destorying-god-thing-oops-central-character-died' trope :v:
