I can play for longer than anyone I usually play with, 1v1 first to 5 rounds (so you can actually get a feel for your opponent). The winner is not who takes the most games, it's who stops playing first! The gauntlet as I like to call it

Exactly fist, now when I play best of 3 I find the match is over before it started! Plus if your playing 1v1 you might as well crank the rounds up as you spend half the time in menus *cough, rematch option please

Not dumb at all, yes bursts are redundant, but you learn so much faster given you get a lot more play time in for how long your actually playing, plus the better player is more likely to win over 5 rounds.

I'm not saying its a good idea for competitive play, but when your having 1v1 casuals, trying to learn and try new things out, longer games are so much better

I prefer 1 v 1 rooms against similar skilled or better skilled players.

If there is 3 people in the room and 5 rounds I would just cba lol, but I wouldn't mind 5 rounds for 1v1s.

If you say that a burst increases your chance of winning a round and you have to win 5 rounds instead of 2, then they won't influence the match nearly as much, but they still are useful, especially for some gold burst swag.

Gg's man, play me anytime you want, always up for some matches.

Just be mindful of pressing buttons when your getting of the ground, but you seem to have some decent mid screen combos going for how long your drive card suggests you've been playing

Also, Seo: Would say GG's for the Guilty we had four days ago, but, quite frankly, my performance was far too pathetic to even near warranting that claim. Seriously: I usually do better than that, at least with hit - confirms. Still need to work on devising some oki set - ups though, especially mid - screen. Oki is where she gets most of her damage from after all. Alos, double IK and puff - ball spam for the win lol.

However, if you'd allow some - one who you repeatedly destroyed (Twice literally.) to give some advice, it would be to work on your corner pressure with Jam. You were doing some things which would within almost no circumstance hit me at the range you were doing them, which provided me with a chance for a deliriously easy escape (Not that I really capitalized on it, ha ha.). If you had kept me blocking, it probably would have been an even higher level of slaughter than it was.

Also, by some amount of fortune, I actually found a disc copy of AH3 within a used section, so that's available to me once again now. It won't allow me to save, and it won't respond to any inputs if I enter the messenger, but hey, at least it's mostly working now. I also plan to re - order Extend, so hopefully soon I shall be playing the people here at what there best at once again. Before it broke, I discovered that some of Platinum's better mid - screen combo's are far easier with a stick than pad, with their unreliability upon said pad being why I didn't attempt them previously. So hey, look forward to around about 1K or so more damage if you're standing during the ever - so - rare occassion of me hitting you.

Yeah, GGs Ashes! Was nice to play some Guilty Gear for the first time in a while! I'm definitely still not making full use of Jam, so you're advice is always appreciated, and I agree with ya! It was difficult for me to keep you in the corner when you were there, so I need to work on some better block strings and oki set-ups there. Truth be told, I'd play alot more GG if there were more people playing online and then netcode was a tiny bit better (though our connection felt pretty good actually). If I'm ever on and you wanna play some GG again, just shoot me an invite and I'd be more than happy to play!

Whats stopping you? sure some characters like Rachel are hard to master but if you really like the character then just say "fuck it" and push on with your dedication alone
