Speaking about terrible mash hack and slash games, did anyone play Ninja Blade?... You have no idea what hell I put myself though playing that shit..

Didn't play it but my friend showed me all the boss fights and thingz

Then he Turned it off, came back the next week and the Game was missing from his pile of games lol..... he sed to me it was "okay for £5" LOL

Looked kinda.....Nice/misleading

The annoying thing about DmC is the whole world twisting around to kill you thing looks really cool actually, but they completely butchered Dante =/

I still maintain that Bayonetta is the best DMC game btw.

It was pretty good but for DMC is still my favorite after all, DMC1 was part of my childhood on the PS2 (the best console of it's time in my opinion.)

It was VERY misleading and very boring as well, it was basically Boss after Boss and the odd minor enemy with a bad story..

Only DMC game I played was DMC3 and I loved it. Btw, <3 Cerberus so much.

Bayonetta was sick.

I really really loved the Jak and Daxter series on PS2. Those were some of my favourites.

My favourite game ever though is Grandia 1 on the PS1. That is the best RPG ever created, nothing has surpassed it yet, and nothing ever will. Words cannot express my happiness that it's on the PSN store, day one buy when I eventually get a PS3.

Grandia 2 on Dreamcast surpassed it (Grandia 3 failed but was beautiful)

No doubt 2 was damn good, but it is really silly say to say that it even comes close to 1. I swear Gadwin would fuck up the entire cast of Grandia 2 blindfolded with one arm tied behind his back. Justin could do it purely by kicking.

Real talk all the characters were better in 1, the story was better, the gameplay was better, the graphics were better (dem sprites yo) and lord knows the final boss was around a million times cooler. tl;dr: It was better :kitty:

Honestly, I agree with EX.

Grandia 2 had defined probably one of the best battle systems ever created along with Shadow Hearts.

G1 was great in it's own way, but G2 healed the wounds of it's predecessor and created something beautiful, that and the fact that no one has a mouth :O.

As for Hack & Slash, Bayonetta is easily my favorite of all time - I really wish for a sequel. I also love too bits the No More Heroes story, but the gameplay was just plain meh.

Oh and Kiba, since the Tsubaki forums probably hate me, can I ask you what the exact trick is behind the jCC IAD 5C? Applying that the 5C whiffs.

Thanks.

... in till you played it on Infinite Climax mode.

Well at least it wasn't no Dante Must Die.

I agree with u agreeing with me , im not saying G1 is a bad game , ITS SEXY , to be honest Grandia beats some of the RPG's we have out now

G1 was sick G2 was a sick improvement (G3 kinda flopped BUT the system design and some new things helped ALOT ) Other than that o_o Grandia = GG's

May I remind you that G1 all but set the bar which all RPGs should aspire to. It had no wounds to heal. I mean look at Feena, how can there be wounds with a character as adorable as that?

I never said that G2 was bad, it was amazing, but I don't think it quite lived up to the perfection that was G1 but it was really close. Bah, enough of this debate, opinions suck.

First off, in case you actually were attempting what you wrote: It's IAD j.CC 5C, not j.CC IAD :p

The trick is to hit j.C as soon as possible and delay the j.CC hit. 5C should come out as soon as you touch the ground. Thankfully it's much easier in this game because of 5C's speed and buffed hitbox compared to using it with 5B in CS2.

Everytime I play Grandia 1 on my PSP now, it feels like Im back in the 90s.

That game is ultimate nostalgia, I love it so much.

Shruikon is pretty much on the ball. If you're whiffing the 5C it means you're doing j.CC too early / quickly.

The Tsubaki forums hate you? I should be able to fix that.

Bayonetta was such a good game. Fighting Jubileus was incredible.

That guy is a fuckin' troll.

Chazzy old boy, I could sit here and talk about G2 all day, but I don't want to because I would prefer to do it during Business Studies tomorrow. In any case, G1 did not set any set any "bars" at all, though it was the last best game to come out in the 90s. It's story was lacking somewhat as well. I'm pretty sure the only reason you love it is because of nostalgia. In fact, I'll probably "obtain" it on my PSP-PSN to play it tonight - I can;t say too much since I haven't played it in 4 years. :S

Thanks for the info, I knew you had to delay something, sorry on the annotation - making up Tsubaki combos that don't work :S

Kiba, this is why (Brace Yourself)

Symmy young lad, I can assure you G2 had some glaring story issues as well, and I can also assure you that I don't like Grandia 1 only because of the nostalgia. I love the game because, for lack of better words, it is in-fucking-credible.

Also: 'At the end of 1997, Grandia was released in Japan for the Sega Saturn and competed against Final Fantasy VII for the spotlight. While the masses poured into FF VII, the elite few chose Grandia. It was a game hailed by critics to be the quintessential RPG game. Furthermore the much reported disappointment with FF VII, drove most critics to hail Grandia as the better of the two and indeed best 32 bit RPG. At the same time Grandia's ever growing fan base heralded it, as if it were the second coming of RPGs. It was the game that set the high bar for RPGs. And even after almost two long years, every other RPG to come was to be judged against the harsh lurid light, that was the "masterpiece" known as Grandia.'

'Grandia II had some 'Grand' shoes to fill indeed. Fortunately for fans of the first game, a worthy sequel this is, even if it falls a bit short of its predecessor's greatness.'
