Fistmaster and seo are both monster ragna's but even with that, this is not a fair matchup, ragna has everything tsubaki has but better, more damage, longer reach, a mugen that doesn't need resources outside of the 50 meter needed to, better pickups, just fucking everything.

Trust me this is a really tough match. As a tsubaki player, you really can't throw the first punch, you have to play really skillfully and can't just press buttons 6.5-3.5 in my eyes

Arn't we talking about CP?

I actually agree with this, but at worst I'd say it's 6.5-3.5, most likely 6-4.

Ragna does have just about everything Tsubaki has but better, the matchup is still in his favour for sure....in Extend

while I'm 50/50 about CP Ragna weighting nerfs against possibilities and I haven't heard that much about CP Tsubaki other than she is getting a projectile distortion but as far as I know she isn't really getting nerfed in anyway really, from what I've seen she looks about the same but with maybe a slight damage buff (only slight mind) seems Arc is kinda leaving her alone this time

The matchup is should still in Ragna's favour but probably not by much

Tsubaki has had countless nerfs in CP, you just don't know what they are. She does a lot more damage though.

Well there you go, my bad that I didn't go into depth of CP changes for Tsubaki

but with Tsu getting damage and Ragna losing about 2 thirds of his, wouldn't you think that Ragna and Tsubaki would be on just about level playing fields to the point where neither side can be salty about winning or losing?

I was talking about extend, sorry if we were talking CP.

Fist in terms of CP, she got a decent damage buff, her air normals are charge cancel able, giving swallow moon esq mix up/frame traps, charging is slower at neutral but fast after knockdown, plus she gets 2 charges from a command grab, so in general, she's even more rush down than before

Her pressure still has many holes but it's her ability to constantly reset pressure that makes her scary, probably the best out of the cast at doing this

wouldn't you think that Ragna and Tsubaki would be on just about level playing fields to the point where neither side can be salty about winning or losing?

Tsubaki players will forever remain salty vs ragna no matter the iteration because 5B ID

Nah. Swallow moon is actually good. It works nothing like it. Just.. nothing. 8f of landing recovery destroys it.

her pressure reseting is hella weak in CP, she's not more rushdown, she's more RPS.

I remember spending half a day learning what I can and can't IB ID through against Tsubaki. Guess it payed off, lol.

I was about to say that. It would have been a really good addition if the freaking j.D didn't have any landing recovery.

Dunno why Arc Sys is doing the same thing AGAIN like they did in Extend. Buffing/changing things with the intention of it being a decent addition but then not changing frame data around to make it work...

And ask yourself this, would no landing recovery on j.D be even that big of a buff outside of the air move charge cancels? Nope. No reason to not make that change but they just "forgot" about it again like they always do.

Meanwhile characters like Arakune are still being their stupid old self, though at least not AS braindead and broken as he was in pretty much every version of CS.

Oh well, I guess.

Hey, whenever I see Arakune end a curse combo and then immediately getting back 66% of his curse right at the end, do a mixup and go right back into curse(if opponent didn't block correctly), I go "WUT" more often than not.

That's like having Tsubaki using 5 charges in a combo, then immediately gaining back 3 at the end for no reason. It's stupid.

Tsubaki got a command grab. How can any nerf make you feel down?

Loss of 22D unblockable. the command throw is nothing compared to that.

Sorry, but the trade-off would have been fair if the command throw did 2K-ish damage along with 2 charge gain. 2 charges gained and 960 damage is meh.

@Daedron. I can see your reasoning, honestly. As Adam will tell you I'm a die-hard hater of 22D Unblockables. But in a way a command grab adds to the mixup you lost. Whilst the reward isn't as good. You still retain the ability to punish anyone that sleeps on your pressure. I think 22D would of been nerfed heavily in CP even if it wasn't removed. All the big hitting Install's / 100P!'s got nerfed.
