Are you playing on the Stick or the Pad?

I should be getting my first arcade stick soon (´∀`) probably after 2~3 days

Been pad fighter for over 9 years now :kitty:

Sometimes I wish I were able to use a GCN controller for this game... so many years experience with Smash...

I've been pondering over trying a stick or not, but I'm really just not sure if I want to invest in one when I don't know if that's what I'll stick with.

And now I just realised I made a terrible pun.

Just personal opinion... i've been trying stick (SF4 HRAP), feels like my input're more solid there ... granted i'm paying Plat that have no dp input, so all dandy :vbang:

StarGazer, if you plan on customizing/moding it, I recommend you a MadCatz TE, it's also a heavy stick, so its more stable on your laps.

anything is good, but quanba/etokki is better%)

now i modding hard my madcatz te. Wireless stick <3

The only "good" part with Qanba is the dual mod pre-built in, no offense.

quanba is pretty good overall. And why someone will prefer madcatz/hori over dual mod stick? Especially when you mod this.

Not to have to deal with a crappy PCB/Case?

And also, Qanba dual moded is PC, PS3, Xbox360, modded stick is every single consoles out there (PS3, PS2, PSx, Xbox 360, Xbox, Wii, GameCube, N64, Snes, NES, Dreamcast(best console ever made), Sega Genesis) and so on.

quanba pcb and case are pretty good. And i don't think most of people need anything except ps3/xbox360 mod. And you can mod quanba same for other consoles afaik, since ps360+ isn't yet available. And dual mod pcbs cost 50-60$. And madcatz modding is meh, you must do something with turbo/home buttons. And find nice place inside stick for your pcb if its big or mod internals.

I can assure you that thing is ass.

ゴミだ

really?! :gonk:

Awww, but its the only thing available in my local store, either this or that stupid hori wireless plastic.

If it was up to me i would buy Qanba or TE

Get a TE, out of experience and many testimonials, you can't go wrong. And of course, get the Xbox one with a 50$ kitty board, and you have it all modded for PS3 Xbox360 and PC, it's a smack on the wallet at first, but you're good for years.

The shipping will cost me waaay to much, and the it will take a lot of time (sometimes 3 weeks!!) to arrive. while SFxTK Stick is just ready to be picked up with just 150$ right away.

The pic you showed us, is most definitively not a MadCatz TE stick, they all look the same except for the SC5 one.

Seems like it is Mad Catz but not a TE, wtf happen't to Mad Catz lol and their downgrading lol.

it IS madcatz stick. Get whatever you want. sfxt stick must be okay, but don't know about modding.
