It's very easy, but the Asteroid Vision seems to randomly drop even though it feels like I aced it. Is this a little wonky or am I just messing it up? I get it to come out like 80% of the time, but the other 20% it just drops and I can't figure out if it was late or early 'cuz it feels like I did it spot on.

Doing the 214A~C during the first part of 5CC should get it to work consistently. Make sure to hitconfirm it before mashing the CCCC followup. If you miss it and they block the hit, you can go for a mix up or reset pressure.

The input problem is in 214A[C] Aside from getting 214A as fast you can, you need to do Lunatic upper 214A[C] as fast as you are allowed after asteroid vision. Common mistake is mashing CCCCCC after 214A, your hand isn't a machine gun, you gotta learn and master the timing of 214A[C]. if you want to practice, try this: 5CC > 214A > C, rinse and repeat until you nail it.

Have played since CT, and makoto has been my main since her release and that's not gonna change. I want to increase my combo options so I'm asking. I have seen some combos that include Big Bang Smash (they follow the combo after the super), but it takes forever to recover from the super, it needs to wall bounce actually to extend (or start) the combo. Is the 632146 > D->wall bounce is only achieved in the corner, or is there a way to make that in midscreen? Thanks in advance! xP
excelence Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Afaik u can't BBS>wall bounce> follow up at corner, you should at least about 1/4 way to corner... that combo is quite flashy on real match, you should confirm your position, before going for it.

I don't use BBS too much, but I think its good to have some combos with BBS just in case, especially when you are midscreen-near a corner where makoto is lacking in damage output unless you a rapid to reach the corner quickly. On the corner 5D > 666A > 2D > 2C, but 6A won't hit on jin, carl, and valk, so i change that part of the combo for those chars.

I know I'm not the best around, and I work really hard to get better (currently learning stick), but it feels like no matter how much I do improve... Makoto just sucks, she just does. I'm not saying she can't do damage, or has no potential. It just feels like that every move she has, is beat out easily by every other character... I'm not going to quit or anything, but as a long time Makoto player, it really is noticeable how bad her nerfs were. </rant>
