Reisi Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I think we can all agree that he is the best Makoto player ever. Also, never would've thought 5B CH > 2D would've worked, especially with the BBS tacked on later. Good stuff~
StarGazer Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 5CC > PF [4000 Damage] 2A > 5B > 6A > 5B > 5CC > 5D > 2D > 236AD > 5CC > j.B > j.D > 5CC > j.B > j.B > 623CD [3000 Damage] #ScumbagMakoto
StarGazer Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 The tail deserves a crown xD A days ago i couldn't pass the Challenge #7 Today, i finished the Challenge mode for RG, JI, MK, VK, HK, HZ, BA (FEELS GREAT)
Bibiquadium Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I fail at Mak's 15th challenge, I find it to be rather retarded...
StarGazer Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Retarded yes, but the 214AD > Delay > PF link is useful and a must to learn! The challenge mode combos are not of my interest, but i need something with a goal to achieve or else i will keep being lazy and say that "I will practice the stick tomorrow" OS
StarGazer Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Try this 5B > 6C > 214ACD > Delay > PF > 66 Cross under > 2D > j.D > 662C 236AD > 6A 5D > Ender The Delay > PF link assures that your opponent gets launched back to the corner 99%
Bibiquadium Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) It's only the 15th challenge combo one that annoys me, in general I have no issue with a PF into 2D combos EDIT : Felt like giving it another try in months and I just had to do my PF lower to the ground, that's all. StarGazer Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Blazblue combo rule #1, if the combo didn't work... delay it xD
Sanger Zonvolt Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Any tips on doing 5D>66>2D? I can't connect the 2D after the dash.
Bibiquadium Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 The dash has to be rather small and try to unleash the 2D lvl 3 as soon as possible, many combos wont work because the 2D lvl 3's bar is over the 3/4th of the charge. With practice it'll come on its own
MarkusArx Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Any tips on doing 5D>66>2D? I can't connect the 2D after the dash. During the recovery of 5D, watch Makoto's foot as she steps back. This is about when you should buffer your dash. As soon as it touches the ground, inputting 2D should make her slide slightly forward and begin charging it. Release at LV.3. Do things afterward.
Sanger Zonvolt Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 (edited) Hey I got it to work, thanks Makotobros. Edit: Okay it was just a fluke, my goodness this hard. Any videos around about this specific thing? Noel just falls out of 236A~D also sometimes, great.... Edited June 14, 2012 by Sanger Zonvolt
Bibiquadium Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 All of my videos uploaded on my channels are based on Noel, different characters, different timing. For Noel she has to be near the ground while some characters you can do it right off the bat, like Ragna or Mu for example. I personally never go for the 5D 66 2D combos because they are character specific and the damage isn't even worth it.
StarGazer Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 2C 236AD is unstable on Noel, the rest of characters should be fine 5B 6A 2D route Combo doesn't work on Jin and Valk, also this route is a bit more strict about proration than 5D 66 2D Route You must learn both routes to get good stable damage in corner
Reisi Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 If you intend to go for 2D > 2C > 236A~D, you can dash either between 5D/2D or 2D/2C, whichever feels easier for you. Once you get a feeling for when 236A~D would whiff after you've placed the orb, you can usually recover the combo into knockdown at least. Something like... stuff > 2C > 236A > 5A > 6A > j.B > ender.

What's the best alternative, because I can't do this dash for the life of me.
Bibiquadium Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Watch my combo videos, it has the answer to all your questions. Part I Part II You can also feel free to stalk my channel for other goodies that I uploaded about Makoto.
Sanger Zonvolt Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 I notice you go for the dash after the 2D instead, do you find that easier?
Sanger Zonvolt Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Much easier, gives you more time as well. Wow, it's so much easier, all hope is not lost after all. Thank you once again.
Sanger Zonvolt Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Weird, i find 662D easier. I can't do either consistently, but can at least get the 662C to land sometimes.
Eshi Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Hey makotos... i am in winners finals for my pool at CEO (top 8). Nerves are really strung out lol. I havent gone to tsubaki once and probably wont now. Wish me luck at 6 when top 8 begins. :D
