Bibiquadium Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 I remember Nini Heart when he used to play her because she was top tier (lol) and he came to my house and we netplayed and he got like 10 hatemail in 2 hours, it was retarded lol but he plays extremely cheap but well in the same time. But now in CSEX I kinda took over because she's still my main no matter her tier or whatsoever and extremely devoted.
Blubba_Pinecone Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Ha, I never had any mail in CS2. Was still too new at it for anyone to really care lol. Lately I've been getting a bit of respect, though. Wish my computer wasn't broken, otherwise I could upload for critique. >->
StarGazer Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Despite being nothing near broken and having less dumb/cheap stuff than the others, Makoto was hated to unbearable levels.
Goldchampion200 Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 i never got to play CS2 online but i do get hatemail from time to time in extend mostly from rawrgnas.
Blubba_Pinecone Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) Man... just got done playing for like 5 hours with a friend offline... I hate Ragna... and Inferno Divider... I also need to practice more offline... my timings are all screwed up, just a little off from having gotten used to playing in lag (since that's generally all I have >->). Reisi Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 it is stable 100%, just make sure that he is guarding by using 2A. Well, that explains a lot, cheers. Man... just got done playing for like 5 hours with a friend offline... I hate Ragna... and Inferno Divider... Yomi parry into 5C CH! It's the most glorious thing! D:<
OmniSScythe Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 People can actually use parry? Man in my case it became a forgotten move or rather a useless limb. lol
Bibiquadium Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 I use it, its damage is too good to be left out, its almost forcing your oponent to burst if he has any. Corner combo with parry if you have like 60 heat if not less before the parry, you'll build enough for RC and PF resulting in 6.9k dmg which is very good in Extend standarts.
OmniSScythe Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 That's why I said in my case, Not saying it's bad it just doesn't work for me (in a input sense).
Goldchampion200 Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Makoto has a Parry!? news to me on a sidenote Omni that avatar its soo entertaining almost hypnotizing.
SolAscension Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 It's hard for me to parry on reaction on stick like I could do on pad.
Blubba_Pinecone Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Yeah... parry is weird in this version... I find I can time it for some moves and not so much for others. Parry on reaction though? I don't know how anyone does that... I have to anticipate a hit.
excelence Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Parry overhead or frametraps? It's pretty easy to do if you anticipate their block string.
Reisi Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Also, wake-up parry is amazing for the unknowing. Whiff DP = eat 5k. Whiff Parry = mash 2A, get combos anyways! In honesty though, aside from AA, I use parry mostly for some well-placed reads. And even then, it's not even close to being as reliable as it was in CS:E. Execution has to be spot on. (Wouldn't mind a low parry though. >:3)
Bibiquadium Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Most people I play against will use a low attack first, so parry is much more viable when you know your opponent's pattern enough to know when to fit it in and know it'll be legit. If Ragna for example keeps spacing you with Jesus Kick(5B) you can dash parry it at your own risk, since parry will never be 100% safe, or when Rachel ends her pressure with a Lobelia and so on.
HIGEKING42 Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 i personally never liked parry at all. Now i fear of getting countered so i use it even less than before.
StarGazer Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 IB -> Parry, this is my only use for parry (parrying Tao's bowling ball can be legit too)
HIGEKING42 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 but that would make no sense since tao can just wait till the parrying time is over and then go back to being on the offensive.
Bibiquadium Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Quick notice regarding Relius, 3C > Ignis in many cases.
StarGazer Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 (edited) But 3C have hell hard time going through ignis most of the time, and Relius can recover and react most of the time too but that would make no sense since tao can just wait till the parrying time is over and then go back to being on the offensive. I said "can", ofc she can punish you for doing that, but if the Tao doesn't know about this and kept rushing with her bowling ball then use the ball as a parry invoker. Edit: Blazblue is dying... Bibiquadium Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Too many so called "hype" fighting games that are coming out, but since there's no furries I'm sticking to BB and might try GG since A.B.A looks like an interesting character.
excelence Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Edit: Blazblue is dying... ... probably, i'm playing too much Skull Girls lately.
Bibiquadium Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Hopefully your body is ready Omni, can't make Ushijima Iiniku sad.
OmniSScythe Posted June 8, 2012 Author Posted June 8, 2012 Of course, I haven't touched the game at all so I'm in peak position.
