Just air throw them or frame trap them to hit him with a grounded move during the window where they can't air barrier guard.

It seems GDLK until you figure out how to punish it properly. Once you do, the people that rely on it become quite free...

I'll try this against TD when I play him again to see how well it works. It could very well be possible she doesn't have a good answer for it but for some reason I doubt that.

Oh I was air throwing and did some frame traps, but it was pretty hard to get a ground throw even after all that. I can't jump through the TV and say "STAY ON THE GROUND OR ELSE!" and apparently using air throws didnt get the message across. Using meaties probably would have been really smart looking back, but I have never practiced the timing, so I was pretty much left to only air throws and frame traps. Guess that gives me a reason to sit in training mode with Ragna again.

I was doing it against TD. I was surprised at how well it was worked. Of course, TD could have just been having a bad day.

normally rachel just dosent give a fuck about up-back at point blank,since most of her pressure is air-tight/george and pumpkin stop it cold/she can use universal tactics to beat it (which are a little more risky). it becomes alittle harder for her to stop it the more she's pushed out of range.

l know how to punish up-back. once l see someone constantly doing it (read: more than once/twice) l start adjusting my pressure to punish. l was a little taken aback when toan started doing it, he usually respects my pressure. i'm much more prepared for next time though; should be entertaining to see how our matches play out toan.

Nah, I've just fallen off. I'm always used to these sized rooms, and I've always been proficient so it's not that. I'm sure my skill level has dropped somewhere so I've gotta find a way to get it back to where my decision making is back on point.
