Toan, I haven't played you in awhile. Gonna go from fighting one robot chick to another. Or better yet, Cookie can open up the lobby (If PSN is working for you) again and I fight both of em.

Personally, I don't think you adapt quickly enough. Seemed like you just played the same game regardless of whatever I did, and didn't react to counter things being done.

Because it s not easy for me okay? It just wasn't easy. I just wish people would stop acting as if I don't try or something because its not true. I think I came a good way since last year when I started learning her. I still have ways to go but I'm not giving up.

I was learning the minute they announced Extend. Then I had to relearn stuff and then learn matches from there. To me it wasn't easy.

I do have to work on my adaptation and reactions. It just seems like when I react, it's either too late or someone is in my face already.

This is pretty fair - he's not saying this to be mean - it implies you are flowcharting, but the real thing you should take away from this is that your game plan doesn't seem very flexible. A lot of fighting games is done on the fly, and you should be checking yourself.

I fought a fairly good Carl recently. He played very differently than what I was used to, so I had to change my plan. It worked, but it meant my strategy was to time the guy out every time. I didn't want to after I found that out, promptly lost.

I did 10 with Tsu in a row for you since you think using subs is sandbagging for some reason and it was pretty funny when you were just mashing DP with some level of success until I started baiting it out but still, hope it was a learning experience for you all the same.

I managed to play you w/o raging......much. I think I just need to play more often. Losing to wakeup Hell's Fang was the only thing that really got me. I blame Kaqn and his dumb ass habits. Thanks for turning American netplay into nothing but clones of you Kaqn. I see it now Jourdal. I was in denial, but it's clear as day now.

what? logic? who uses that nowadays?! and yeah, using subs doesn't mean that you're sandbagging. Hell, I sometimes feel like playing Bang or Hakumen just because they're fun and you can get away with all kinds of silly shit with them.

cookie, can you do combos consistently? l dont actually mean anything super advanced or w/e, just small things like, do you know how to differentiate between a foe that's crouching/standing/ airborne/in the corner. it's important that you be completely honest with yourself, if you decide to answer.

if not, what combos do you think you need to learn? where do you feel you struggle the most often when it comes to combos? more often than not, it's not netplay screwing up combos than it is the player.

if you feel confident in your combo skills, perhaps it is time to start setting small goals in matches to shoot for (not jumping an entire round, not using meter etc), to strengthen your overall game and make you aware of all of your options during any given situation. l used to do this back in cs1, and looking back it was one of the best things l ever did to train. shit works

what kriegdrache said. also, this is how you develop a strong ground game. by not jumping, you're -forced- to have good mobility, be on time with anti airs, and figure out ground approaches/escapes. this is a really, really good way to get stronger because of how difficult it can be. it'd probably be good to challenge players of the same skill until she can get the hang of it though.

I model my Ragna play out of "look what I can get away with!" more than any particular player. It's really silly how little I have to give a shit when playing as him and win anyway for no real good reason which is in great contrast to play a successful Tsubaki so I like to do that fun.

And while I'm fairly certain it was you that voiced your frustration about some people not using their mains against you and hoping characters too much, I could be mistaken since my memory is rather shady.

Tsubaki's moves all seem to be minus in the wiki (except 6B) so if you just ended your pressure with some random attack yeah i could just do whatever, but using them together as gatlings I couldnt DP.

And I think that was Dusk Thanatos who said he doesn't like with people switch characters.
