Moy_X7 Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I can name so many ways you can equip items with very little risk in most match ups. super jump back D use normals gattling into D 3C>22C>dash D during bubble combos CH 2C IABD item if you got them respectful. etc etc. Gotta use some imagination. Honestly I don't watch JP Plats so I found things out for myself. 1. Too risky, you're giving them a chance to either jump out or mash on you. The only way I would try this would be after a j.C > JC. 2. How does this one even work? I might as well just finish my combo and equip an item after a knockdown. Unless you mean that the 3C > 22C is the actual combo finisher but I'd much rather either do a reset or send the opponent flying with Mami towards the corner where I can actually play Plat at her best. 3. Same as 1, it doesn't matter if you get them to respect... sooner or later they'll start disrespecting again. You can pretty much get an item anytime after a 2C in combos, it doesn't have to be a CH. Meh, I'll just stick to equipping items after knockdown, during Bubble/2C combos, via command grab, or full screen away and I'll try during air pressure too.

Seriously, you're being too uptight about that. When I still played Relius I had to waifu summon in the middle of blockstrings all the damn time, because I needed her out as soon as I could get her. I rarely got punished.

I don't run into people who can do outrageously large combos often on SG's netplay. However I did run into a really good Valentine, I felt like I should of went to get a large sandwich after watching those combos.

You have to be one of the most pessimistic people about your characters. You always make it seem so hard to do a lot of things.

People can mash on you with Plat over plenty of things but if you force them to respect then they'll just block anyway. Kinda like Litchi canceling normal's into staff set, it's not like your gonna do this every match...are you? 2. Simple you do 3C>22C then you dash forward and hit D, if they neutral tech you can dash and use 5A/2A if they roll your still safe and can gain an advantage depending on the item. 3. For some reason you say it as if this won't work, the last one works because you gain some distance from your opponent, this is also assuming that they are respecting and if they are disrespecting then you wouldn't do it. edit: Playing plat is hard you just gotta play like a bitch, a different type a bitch for every match up unlike Ragna who can be the same asshole every match up, he just gotta block certain shit. Jin players are not jumping forward and hitting buttons, they are ready to punish your mistakes with an ice blade. Moy I think you suffer from mashy net play trauma. Took out the SE's buttons and replaced them with my old xbox sanwa's blue buttons, now all I need is a idea for a image and I'd have my own modded SE. No games for me today, all my BB hate went into Toasty yesterday. I dropped a 100 heat FC corner combo, dick was sad. Maybe monday though, I am feeling monday for games. Edit: I summon items on everyone safely, just gotta be at the right spot Neo.

He only plays my Valk, so he can't complain about him I play other Valks on PSN and there is a Valk offline here but he is free so I don't think he counts.
