Lord Knight Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 (edited) stuff i burst for momentum/avoid bad situations/minimize damage. i also suck ass at doing ryuusiou vs unblockable so ill use gold burst instead. you dont have to "burst quicker", but instead think about how youre going to burst and what the result of using your burst will be. imo you bursted fine vs me, TD hella austin bursts and i think its dumb, but he does play an omega momentum char so an argument can be made for it i thought EU had some good players? Skyll and Chronoxir where in japan at the same time i was and they live in france - dont you play with them? tsubaki pressure is good imo, just simple EDIT: shin is that room open? There are a few good players in the EU though, but I admit it's getitng hard to play against them nowadays since they're barely online. I usually do think about how I'm going to burst and it's usually momentum based, though against you I think it should be a staple. There were times where I said to myself I should burst to avoid the corner carry, since that's what gets me the most really, but I didn't. I think I burst a little late in that I end up having two bursts for one round. While that isn't bad I know myself and I know I'll end up using one of them in such a way that, makes me lose the match because low health makes it predictable (I am very stingy with my bursts), or I burst fine but then I'm left with one primer. I'll learn, eventually. Like I said before I just need to keep playing you guys. I just hope you guys had some sort of fun playing me, and I look forward to when we have to play next.

I can only do it mid-match. Any longer than that I forget what happened unless I have replays saved, which I don't on PS3 because it takes too long.
TD Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 l used to burst responsibly. l got the austin burst thing from when l used to play feux. after seeing him do it x n it rubbed off on me and now l just don't give a fuck if l die without a burst then it's punishment, l shouldnt have gotten again.

What I'm getting out of him when he does that is "you scum, how dare you touch me?". I remember I used to touch him with Plat 5A/2A near the beginning of the match and he would Burst immediately lol.

That's what I think everytime Rachel does her burst. Normally she's all calm, staring out the window, and drinking tea, then she just explodes and I go "Shit just got real." Rachel has one of the more amusing bursts imo :P
