Also, lol at setting your controller on turbo to tech. I just mash A furiously until I see the tech flash lol. I think he said he was going to, but at that point I was already in the process of leaving and wasn't gonna be on much longer anyway.

That sounds about right. If you couldn't emergency tech Lambda's 3C, she would have good damage and corner carry from every normal. Why give someone a free mix-up attempt? Then again, I would probably think differently if I didn't have an easy mode oki tool that forces neutral tech.
TD Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 ggs to everyone who joined my room tonight! l would have kept it open but lag was beginning to get unbearable. final score was 24-2 which mean i'll finish the other 74 games sometime this week. it also means you guys need to step your game up! l liked how well you guys adapted to multiple situations, and it was fun playing you all. come again tomorrow!

Well it really only fucks Jin over if I attempt a 2A cross-under because if they don't tech right away the combo will blue beat and Jin doesn't have any way to continue the combo after a blue beat. With Plat, the worst thing that happens is that I lose some frame advantage, no biggie, but Jin loses all of his momentum and has his back against the corner. @AXIS - Well I do, specially when I drop a 22C combo. I might get away with it from time to time, so I'll give it a try next time with people who refuse to tech right away lol. Edited July 12, 2012 by Moy_X7

Moy_X7 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 (edited) 2A OTGs so they'll be right in the air with me but these people are so damn stubborn that they also won't tech after getting hit by 2A so it might just work. @GGJ - That pretty much will only works if you haven't used a second 236B in the combo already. If they tech any time after the 2A then you just lost your momentum as they'll be invulnerable to the next attack and you'll either be at frame disadvantage or neutral at best. If they neutral tech, you get a cross-under, if they tech forward or backwards, you can catch it, and if they don't, you get a free corner carry, meter and damage. @Moy: Yeah I only do that if I knock them down midscreen and they don't feel like teching. otherwise, i just do 5C > Bubble in the corner. I hardly ever end my combos with 3C as I prefer the 236B carriage but yeah, that works wonders when I do max range 5B > 3C > 22C.
Yggjrasil Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I just do stuff that Yumekami does, his neutral game is pretty dope. Fighting Ragna (or anyone who loves to do DPs on wakeup) is so easy this way, they become helpless when they can't rely on wake-up reversals.
