Too much exaggeration about how different net play is, if I don't block ragnas 6b, it's cause I didn't act quick enough, I've not played any other fighting game that has smoother online

I assume you haven't seen that video by Star where it takes him over 3 minutes to actually start the match.

I made a room but no one came so I stopped and ran some tests.

I'm off now.

You guys made me wait over a hour.

Boooooooooooo

I can hop back on and make another room.

It's either this or practice more melty.

What's more likely, that the game has scrubby online, or his/opponents connection was bad?

Sorry I got ended up joining another room, and regret it cause what me and Skye said stayed true. Fundamentals go out the window.

If you want to play then sure, but give me a minute to get something to drink.

this. l know my net isnt perfect, but its more than playable with everyone. ive long since got past my 'lag ruined everything!!!' mentality (not to say lag doesn't still upset me from time to time). if l got hit by x moves, chances are, its not lag every single time. any you know what? such roadblock removed mean i'm having so much more fun winning AND losing which attributed to my drive to be a good netplayer. in terms of fundamentals... wth. fundamentals a fucking priceless online LOL if ppl troll and pick ragna, use your knowledge to beat him! youll never catch me slipping vs a pocket ragna

@TD: Funny cause I was blocking overheads and even survived Kokushi or whatever the Litchi Distortion is called. He was doing it the same way LK does it too, but I guess I was just wide awake or something cause I could see behind the staff and didn't have to guess block.

Lag is not a big issue for me, but it's just some of the silly ass stuff you have to expect online cause people just don't give a fuck.

I'm pretty sure I've BK > DbD you once or twice, TD~

I feel this is somewhat directed at me.

Couldn't agree more TD, especially about rags, tsubaki struggles against him so for a while I used to scream 'cheap'!!. Now it's block ID, 5C CH > 6C > mugen > stuff = 5k+.

Can you spectator slot and watch people in online practice mode?

Lol if it would make you feel you accomplished something with your pocket Ragna, then I will direct it at you.

Kinda curious if it does work like that.

I still don't see your room either.

l agree there is silly stuff, but l feel like this:

1)its part of netplay. we all know this right? so, when one dumb thing happens, some guys are like lolbb lolnetplay etc etc. but imo its like, they havent come prepared and now theyre all salty and shit like netplay owes them something. netplay doesn't give a fuck about your feelings, my feelings, anyones feelings.

2)the answer to trolling is not to troll back. first of all, lets all take a second and realize the point of trolling: its to bring the other guy out of their element where they'll be more irrational. yea you might win but now you have a bad habit or two and liable to get blown the fuck up. now youre ready to hit something. no! play the matchup and the player with a level head and you'll get somewhere like you do DE.

and batou, l never played your ragna. l did actually slip once on ranked vs glirandly and got blood kain'd twice. l laughed pretty hard.

Don't think so.

I've accomplished many BK > DbD and did many stupid things that people fell for using my fraudulent ass ragna.

I remember this one time I held D to stop a killing Carnage Scissor after first hit and then taunted and when the guy tried to punish and pressed a button, I just Carnage Scissored him again.

It was a good day.

Must've been some other Rachel maybe~

Same thing happens to me when I try to join Axis's rooms. If you are a spectator, you can just invite yourself to the room.

Part of me finds it a bit funny when people talk about "blocking overheads" on netplay because outside of certain situations, if you have the reactions to be able to block them, you should actually be pressing a button / throwing them instead. It's such a small difference between changing a stick direction slightly or pressing a single button or two, and yet in terms of a match that can actually be a huge difference. It becomes even easier if you actually have a DP or some form of one because then you don't even have to worry about it somehow trading. It being netplay shouldn't really matter either since we are talking about being able to react>block to begin with, so you should be able to react>button press under the same conditions.

I can't begin to count how many times I've tried to react to an overhead with 2D but just due to the nature of the move it didn't work out, compared to say a DP character reacting the same way can get it 100% for free. I guess I could just press 5A or throw, but that would be splitting hairs since the frames are almost the same and sometimes I do that anyway. I'm definitely not saying that I don't sometimes auto pilot to just blocking overheads myself, but it's one of those things some people might not even think about that they are doing.
