According to another article I read last night it's being made by CC2 (the same people that made the recent Naruto games)

Yes CC2 helped in the .hack//G.U. games as well as the cinematics for them, the G.U. movie and Asura's Wrath.

So im truly expecting .hack//Ultimate Ninja Storm.

That being said i cannot wait for the movie, i've been wanting it ever since the site went live a while back.

While it is funny to see the new look as Pixar-ized, it doesn't bother me that much. I'm more impressed at how the graphics engine applies to the game. It looks like a much more polished version of Asura's Wrath. Can't tell if it's cel-shaded or UE3.

I guess because it's not the look I'm so acquainted to, is the reason why I dislike it so much.

Me. Not a fan of how this looks graphics-wise at all to be honest. The game could be fun though, looking forward to seeing it in action.

Well, my brother likes .hack// more than me, but I was always impressed with its character designs and thought that having a fighting game would be perfect. So yeah, I'm probably buying this. I just hope that it will be sold separately from that huge pack of goods.

And why the hell does every game I want this year come out in Summer? Guess I should actually take that part-time job that has been offered to me.

I don't like it at all as well. It looks too similar to a disney movie style imo-- .hack always had a semi-realistic art style, the look in the movie/versus game on the other hand, is just too much for me... Would have preferred the cel-shaded look from the G.U games/Trilogy...

The Trilogy movie was a copout. It didn't even have as fluid animation as the G.U. cutscenes. Not to mention it was a huge disappointment to begin with.

This movie looks fantastic on the other hand.
