Ctrlaltwtf Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 The biggest problem with those vids is that they are advocating mAc oki.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 The biggest problem with those vids is that they are advocating mAc oki. You've been on the receiving end of it too huh.
someonewhodied Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I should make a tutorial video on mac oki It works so damn well
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 The question, will it still be available in CP.
mAc Chaos Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 A mere imitation of the original. Maybe we should do some mirrors with that sub of yours.
someonewhodied Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 nah my hakumen is still pretty bad. All I got going for me are combos.
someonewhodied Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 maybe then. But honestly, after this week, finding me on netplay will be like finding a shiny pokemon normally since I'll be busy playing pokemon x/y till CP :v (Or I may just rush through the game in a single week)
mAc Chaos Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 I will be playing the new Ace Attorney game towards the end of October probably. Still, pretty impressive to take apart some of the tactics since I don't think anyone else ever took the time to try and figure them out. In a way it's kind of like compiling lots of information on Hakumen from lots of other places since I just take stuff I find and see wherever I go and add it to my arsenal.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 ....Yea, don't expect me on that much either....Dat Pokemon has priority.
mAc Chaos Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 Also I don't think half of it will work in CP. CT ~ EX, it had a good run.
someonewhodied Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 man i really wish to see my tao oki pick up before CP though, I worked harder on creating that than downloading the mac oki.
mAc Chaos Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 Pick up? You mean seeing it spread? Technically using 6A is just just a default Haku tool. But I haven't played with many Haku that ever use it.
someonewhodied Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Yeah i only see you ever use it. And me when I play hakumen, no one else ever uses it.
dioxideUniversa Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 i only used 2b for oki a lot because that is what most jp players did for oki in cs2. it's a habit at this point
Kokurokoki Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Hakumen noob here. I'm looking at the BnB combos and I've been wondering why you do a dash after your Renka (1) > Kishuu. I'm reading the input on the OP as Renka (1) > Kishuu, 2C. But in the video I see the input as Renka (1) > Kishu, 66 2C. Is there any reason why we input the 66? I was practicing in training earlier after watching Chin, and I noticed that you can do the first part without the dash. But it seems that it is rather paramount seeing as everyone does it. Can anyone shed light on this late-bloomer Haku player?

In fact 2B is probably better. 6A is just what I ended up working into my style. Hakumen noob here. Can anyone shed light on this late-bloomer Haku player? I personally don't use the dash. It is just that after the Kishuu, you have to wait a certain amount of time and then do 2C exactly then. Some people use the hop to help them time it since if you do the hop it's just 2C immediately after it and you're done. But I like not hopping because I can wait and see if people burst, then punish them if they do. Oh and the hop pushes them a little more to the corner. Edited October 18, 2013 by mAc Chaos

I have a little trouble timing the hop, so I've been doing it without it for now. Also, when practicing the combo, do you have to begin with some sort of starter? The video has Hakumen starting with 5C before going into the combo. Is it possible to do the combo starting at with the Renka (1), or does it not give you enough hitstun to finish the combo?
Wander Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 you can do the BnB from any starter, for the longer combos it needs to be from 5C or renka starter
C0R Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 2B has its own uses that are better than 6A, so it's not just "6A is always great THE END." In fact 2B is probably better. 6A is just what I ended up working into my style. 2b is required against some characters like µ.
mAc Chaos Posted October 19, 2013 Author Posted October 19, 2013 That reminds me. 2B is supposed to clash with her DP, but how exactly is that better? Because whenever I try that, they just clash into another DP or something else that just beats out any followup.
