Ragna MOST LIKELY DOES HAVE ONE, just we haven't seen anyone utilize BK yet.

I'd give it until Tetsu manages to play around with the game a bit. :roboky: I expect that he will provide Ragna players with another batch of candy. Can't waaaaaaiiiiiiiit.

Not to ruin the topic or anything but I'm here to inform you guys Rhode Island might have a venue opening up soon for tournaments and stuff like that. The smashing community I chill with here, has one of their old host back who's currently looking for places to rent out. With any luck we're going to have a venue opening up in January for smash tourney and other fighters (such as BB <3, GG ect ect)

Kinda informing the thread here if anyone cares XD

Tetsu is probably the only person who makes BB look good (to me). You can't really blame me for liking his combo vids; they're the main and only reason why I even stuck with the game. I had terrible execution back then, but now that I have some exp I can get away with trying to do derp stuff on GG.

I'm going to have more to post sometime soon, but in the meantime I want to ask if anyone has made plans for a New Year's Eve casuals or anything. Last year's was kind of a godsend, and this year has certainly kicked my ass harder than any other. Missing you guys down here in Southcoast MA.

I'll be doing family stuff for New Years. New Years Casuals sounds like a great time though.

I'll be at Game Underground tonight, in case anyone wants to play GG (or SSFIVAE...or MK).

Had/have more papers to work on unfortunately. Ironically I was planning to head to Boston this Sunday (or Saturday evening if I finish early), to hang out with Noisetank through Monday. If people are interested in coming with me and could stay that late, I could probably pick them up. Plans include Irresponsible Captain Tyler, Guilty Gear, Planetes, A Link to the Past, Wing Night, and possibly Bubble Gum Crisis pen and paper rpg if I have the campaign ready.

Speaking of Irresponsible Captain Tyler, that's another Anime I recommend watching (The English dub is a little rough but really funny. As for you sub purists, I don't know how the 日本語 dub is as I've only watched it in English). The premise is that a talentless fool joins the United Planets' Space Force, hoping to get a cushy job in the pension department, but he gets promoted to ship captain through a series of mishaps which he somehow turns to his favor using his charismatic powers of persuasion and epic level luck:

if it's that horrible anime that we all agreed was terrible and laughed at it, that's what. It was enjoyable for that, though.

To ruin everyone's fun even more, Mori mentions in the interview that "今一所懸命プロットを書いているところです" "I'm currently writing the plot (for console version) with all my might. So, people really shouldn't expect console version any time soon...

Where's Guilty?

The first question I asked as well. It's all crap except P4A (hell, not even BB got in there? I mean, I don't play it, but I thought that was the 'popular' anime game these days).

It does seem like an interesting place, though, and I have been thinking of taking a trip there because I heard they have a DJMAX Technika cabinet. Maybe I'll bust my shitty Naoto play back out and give it a go.

If we do have casuals, then sure. Subject to the usual caveat of work making me feel like shit, but that's not likely an issue this week.

If we can get enough rep for another game (8 people minimum) then I'll talk to them about running more anime games besides P4U. Also if you show up Steve, you know I got you covered!

Last time a pack of us showed up at GU for a tournament, there was a lot of anime fighter-related interest, but they thought no one played. So if we can get our numbers up this time it might motivate people to play our games
