Vyers Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Vyers, I get out of school at 2:00PM and can conceivably make it home around 2:30. Okay basic gameplan: pick up Katz @ 2:00, pick up Tales @ 2:30, pick up Kona and his friend around 3:15. We'll stop at Mitsuwa for awesome Japanese food when we hit New Jersey, check into the hotel around 10, then head over to the Copabanana for casuals/ bring people to Holiday who are staying there/ grab Zoob at some point. Philly is a little over five hours away; on a full tank my car lasts about 4 1/2 hours on the highway, and it costs roughly $50 for me to fill up my tank. I'm guessing tolls will be around $10 each way. So I'm going to ask for $25 a person for gas and tolls. As I mentioned above the room will be about $220 for 2 nights. The final cost will depend on how many people stay with me (as of now we have 4). 4 people= $55 a person, 5 people= $44, 6 = $37 a person. Plan to put $55 into the room for now. I'll keep everyone posted as the room count changes. It's fine, I've decided to do the more responsible thing in my life to not go and save the money for responsible life things anyway. Your presence will be missed, but I applaud your responsibility.

What about it? :P I remember hopping into a random room out of boredom, but I didn't feel like waiting for the match to finish. It featured Derpenhayn and some other character that I cannot remember. I was kind of bored with stomping randoms in GG, so I decided to see how well I did when I played BB. The sad thing is that I was more consistent than when I was playing it regularly. Is it just me or does every single character have a >100% combo in full OD? I'd complain about this shit but every character can do something equally stupid now so... how should I feel about this?

You have to look at the starter, how much life you need to be able to get Dark Force/Overdrive to last that long, and how much damage you can get out of weaker hits and/or a shorter Overdrive time. Also, the general utility of the Overdrive should be taken into consideration outside of the "I can get retarded damage if I hit you now" factor (lolRagemode). For the Mu specific one, I'm not even really upset considering how stupid she is without it. I'm just salty that there's even more to the pain she gives me. Edited December 5, 2012 by The Katz

I'd complain about this shit but every character can do something equally stupid now so... how should I feel about this? Not all chars have OD runback combos since some ODs are strictly for utility. Haz probably doesn't have one, same with Relius and Valk since all theirs do is extend their drive meters. The most Noel can really do with hers is add 2-3k at the end of her combos. Jin probably doesn't have one unless its off FC 2C or some other unreliable starter (most I've seen him do so far is around 6k which is still runback tier damage). Ragna MOST LIKELY DOES HAVE ONE, just we haven't seen anyone utilize BK yet. But it's only week 3, this probably will change later on. So you should feel happy that your character can actually kill with OD, 5 stars and the corner off a fairly viable starter.
