Zerite: what M. Song said; I happen to use IE or Opera, though, and I never get any problems.

Here's a SmileVideo downloader:

Look for either the .exe or .zip files about halfway down the page. Just run the EXE, and a window should pop up (kind of looks like your typical torrent/downloader interface). Pull down the File menu and hit the URL item, then paste in the URL of the video (works for nicovideo and smilevideo, i think they're the same thing). (You'll get the file in FLV format.)

I had to paste the url into the address bar once I had been 404'd to get it to work. I use IE.

Sir Smoov: if you're talking about the Johnny CM "Goodbye Sunday", then you don't need an ID for that one. It's just a normal, one-shot click-and-download link.

i cannot unzip the match no. 12 - gives me an error every time. probably too long filename. any1 got a tip for me?

if you use WinRAR, it should complain about something, but you can just hit CLOSE and it will essentially ignore whatever's wrong with it, then still open the file.
