Basic League Rules: -Everyone starts at Kyu. You can NOT go below Kyu, no matter how many matches you lose. Kyu is basically equal to 1st Dan 0. This is the "Beginner" rank. -Each match represents 1 point. -You must earn +3 points for a promotion. -3 points and you will be demoted, starting from 2nd Dan 0. -You may only use 1 character per night, unless told otherwise by me. -You no longer have to pass if you sweep the room, PASS ONLY WHEN YOU GET A PROMOTION. -PLEASE read all the rules on the site, it is very important people understand how it works, and it is very simple to understand if you actually read it. Sign-Up Instructions: -Sign-ups begin immediately. -Please continue to sign-up even if spots are filled because there is a good chance someone won't be able to play at the last minute. -No alt accounts. If I find out someone is using an alt you will be banned from participating until further notice. It takes away from the point of this. -If you sign-up I fully expect you to be around when the time comes even if you aren't listed as within the first 12 people. People will drop and I need others to fill those spots. I would also like to make an announcement regarding the West Danisen. I'll be away from July 10th to August 10th so I will be unable to host any danisens during that time period. If there is no one willing to host any sessions that might happen then there will be no Danisen ranbats during that time. I will be moving from the West Coast for school next year and as such, I will not be running any West Danisen sessions after August 30th. Try as I might to plan these sessions, I doubt that running an event that has a 3 time zone difference from where I will be living will work out for me. As such, if these sessions are to continue, the West group is going to need a new semi-permanent host. I'd like to thank all of those who participated in the west group and all those who helped me keep track of ranks and such. I hope that you guys will continue to play in these sessions. My internet has been randomly disconnecting throughout the afternoon/evening for almost the past week. While I could be online throughout the day, the connection will randomly drop at any given moment. It would just be a pain in the ass to deal with that for the league. After trying everything I could to fix the problem, I finally decided to have Verizon send me a new modem/router. It obviously won't be here by tomorrow which is why I gotta cancel it. HOPEFULLY that actually fixes the problem. Since I know people probably don't check this thread after they sign-up I will be PMing everyone who has to let them know as well. Getting someone to run the league wouldn't be a problem either, a 10 year old could run it. "You people in this room, you people in that room, you and you keep track of the scores for that room, you move to the other room since you've ranked up/down too much, 1 hour has passed, time to create new rooms, 1 more hour and GGs people".

If someone else wants to step up and run it that's fine, just make sure you know what you're doing and everyone else does as well. Like I've said numerous times, it isn't hard to understand how the thing works, and yet people still have to ask questions or somehow mess up something along the way. I just don't want to deal with people potentially complaining because something wasn't handled right or people "abusing" the fact that I'm not there and start doing things their own way or let others talk them into it. But with that said, if someone else wants to step up and handle this one that's fine. I'll update everything afterwards as usual.
Sechs Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Since I'm still grinding Etrian Odyssey since 2007, it's obvious I have the adequate spare time to run the east coast danisen this week. Baiscally, I would like to be the proverbial someone else to step up and handle this one.
