Xie Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I may or may not be helping out with this tournament's logistics. So it may or may not have the quality you expect from tournaments that I previous run, for better or for worse.
Alpha152 Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Here's hoping you can make it Xie, I think the tournies you run are great and very organized and well timed for the most part.
Herbal Grey Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I may or may not be helping out with this tournament's logistics. So it may or may not have the quality you expect from tournaments that I previous run, for better or for worse. I may or may not have received important information from this post
Jason D. Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 I may or may not be running this joke into the ground now.
TL_Staff Posted July 20, 2012 Author Posted July 20, 2012 Edit: Schedule and prize breakdown have been posted in the main post =)

TL_Staff Posted July 27, 2012 Author Posted July 27, 2012 (edited) Hotel info is here everyone and believe me when I say we have been working tirelessly on this for a while now. We got a group rate that is available for registration until August 2nd (after that apparently the rate wont be available so register now) at the LAX 4 Points Sheraton. FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON LAX 9750 Airport Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90045 Phone: 310-649-7025 GUEST ROOM RATES: $107.00 for single or double occupancy. The guest room rate is per room, per night, for each additional guest a $10.00 charge will be added. RESERVATIONS: Individual guests must make their own reservations by calling 1-800-529- 4683 by Thursday, August, 2, 2012. They must identify themselves as members of the Group, (Tournament Legacy). Now the overarching problem with this hotel, as cheap as it is, is that its 8 miles from the venue, so for people that are carpooling to the event this is a great option but if you do not have a car with you getting to the venue will be about an hour trip on the local bus route, (Santa Monica Blue bus #3) will take you to basically the door of the event venue but its also a bus trip in LA =P. Our venue is amazing and second to none but it is also in Santa Monica, a very nice city, and also right next to the beach. More specifically the Santa Monica Pier and Promenade, which is a world renowned tourist attraction, and our event is smack in the middle of tourist season. So all the hotels around have their rooms filled with tourists willing to pay top dollar for the hotels nearest to our venue. If you are not able to work with a Hotel thats 8 miles away and therefore requires carpooling/taxi service then here are the hotels that we found that are cheapest and closest to the venue... You could also look for motels/hotels on google maps that are a little more inland from the pier/promenade area. They are likely to decrease in cost the farther you get from the beach.
