Here's a few: -Order-Sol within range can just stuff GF before the flames comes out with 2S... which combo into lvl.3 BRP and Rock it since the 2S will be a CH. Or he could SF it. -Chipp can Gamma Blade it or do Zansei Rouga or Banki Messai. -Potemkin has Megafist(foward). -Axl has Resengeki and that one move in which he goes off screen. -Eddie has Drunken Shade. -Baiken has the Superman GC. -Anji can autoguard right through it. -Slayer can DOT you. -I-no has HCL and her ground OD. I don't play/go against enough of the cast so that's what I got. So aside from just jumping/IAding over there are multiple ways to punish GF. Jumping/IADing is just the most common reliable way to do so since you won't always have meter.

More proof that black people always play Sol or Chipp at first.

You know what's funny? The first person I started playing as when I got Accent Core was Sol, and I am black. :v:

Well, I noticed that when the other person's on wakeup and you do GF, when they block it, they'll have to normally block, if they have no tension for FD, then they could use FD, and move on like nothing happened. :gonk:

Thanks, this is really helpful. But I would like to be able to recover from GF without getting punished, especially by Potemkin. I know there is IAD (Instant air dash), but I still would like to be able to correctly FRC GF. I've been practicing, but I can only do it once in a while. :gonk: The most likely problem is that I'm timing it wrong. Other than that, I'll have to stop relying on GF so much when my opponent is on wakeup. Until I learn how to FRC it correctly, or learn IAD. Due to FRCs relying on tension, I'll just try to IAD back or jump and FD to save myself from large amounts of punishment, if possible.

(Edit: Again, Sorry Spirit Juice, Titanium Beast and everyone else who frequents Sol's sub-forum about the really retarded thread I posted yesterday, I'm actually glad it was deleted.)

Yeah, I know. Just sharing what found, but still stupid...I really need to catch up with everyone else. :gonk::lol: Well, anyway, I decided to have Sol as my main. I decided for now need to work on FRCing Gun Flame, knowing when not to use Grand Viper, and when not to Bandit Revolver/Bringer so I won't get punished, and generally just how to not be so obvious. :keke: Another in general would be to work on defense. What would be the best way to do that.

Experience really. I don't who you play or how they play. Just fight. Blocking you'll learn from battle.

Dude, do you know how many WHITE people chose Sol first? Do you know how many NEWBS chose Sol first? I mean for the name and having the starting spot for the cursor, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with race. But Chipp............. well.......

You're a bastard Spirit Juice. I still remember.:arg:

Potemkin can punish you at fullscreen with Slidehead if you use GF. FRC!!!

I can't see shit in that html tags madness. But you probably just have to TK the BR in order to continue the combo.

should just link the vid, mark about what time the combo you are referring to starts. if it isnt bandit revolver loop (i dunno if by (K) u mean holding it down or just pressing it then), it sounds like you are talking about bandit bringer loop. that is character specific (works on potemkin, zappa, testament, jam, faust, and a few others i believe, but i can't think of them now) and its just about buffering ur movements so that u hit [K] when sol lands. bandit revolver loop and bandit bringer loop are all more cool then they are useful. there is always a more preferred combo to the flashy fun ones, and sticking to the staple damage combos usually yield better results. in some circumstances, say if the person has low health and high guts, the damage doesnt really make that much more of a difference.

are all of those combos tournament-worthy? im still waiting for my game to arrive so i havent actually played AC yet, but i was just wondering if people wouldn't tech out of those combos.

Naw, Bandit Bringer loop and Bandit Revolver loops pale in comparison to sidewinder damage. They're just flashy lulz combos. Except, some bandit revolver loops like: j.D 2HS j.SKD BR j.S VV or BR FRC combos come close to sidewinder damage but sidewinder is still the best damage output and that combo should only be used if you reacted to slow and missed sidewinder opportunity.

For new players, I would recommend watching match vids of 012 and Kishitaka. Or match vids in general because if it works in a match the combo or setup is most likely legit, unless the opponent screwed up somehow.
