I remember reading "5B and 5C is not jump-cancel-able on block" for some other characters, so the 5B nerf might be a universal thingy?!? Dashing initial boost nerf might be a miss-report or it might get changed back to normal in the last build just like BBEX (i hope).

Edit: We are getting Ragna palette as our in-game reference palette :3

From where are you getting this info, do we have any chance of photo/video evidence of this and can we figure out if she retained what was her old 4th palatte (Redder/oranger hair, green clothes)?

So they've ran out of connections to make game-wise so they pair her up with... the main character? IIRC, they haven't even met canon-wise. How is that even a thing?

...although I always liked Ragna's coat and Makoto has a coat now so I get to see her throw off the Ragna-coat in an awesome fashion. I guess this means I continue subbing Ragna by virtue because of the Ragkoto colors.

Oh and that Makoto info. Uhh, I'll wait until I see some gameplay since the changes on paper make me want to strangle some video-game developers.

frankly that's just the start of any info anyone had to post. During OD, the level of D moves appears as level "G" and not as level 3, for example. Arrow and Meteor Dive both bounce the opponent during OD and can be followed up.

Man it seems like everytime I pick up a character in a fighting game they get butchered by nerfs. First AE Yang now this? Damn my character selection sucks lol.

Regardless, I'll still play her whatever they do to her. They can't nerf her lovable personality. And as long as I can play rushdown, it's all good to me.

ダッシュ初速低下と5Bガードでジャンプキャンセル不可は痛い

マコトってダッシュ5Bで差し込むのが楽しいキャラだからなー

ダッシュが遅くなって、ますますシューティング勢に近づくのかキツくなるし

5Bがジャンプキャンセルできないからテイガー戦とかも5B牽制が使いにくくなるな

長い5B、5C、JCとか持ってるラグナとは違って

マコトの立ち回りでは5Bが生命線なんだからさ

Oh hax, i like it. Makoto OD feels like BK. Activate it > Do all Drive moves > Finish, I just hope it doesn't become braindead meaning every OD will be confirmed into the same combo over and over from any position, also, i can see now why they added SMP to Meteor dive :cool:

That could be pretty good, I guess I'm just freaking out to much about Makoto nerfs. It's to soon to know anything for sure. But if that combo is that good. That could be a great step for Makoto players.

Either way, when the Arcade version of CP comes out. I'll be watching the footage like a paranoid hawk!

Works for both EX and CP. It has been reported that 2C 236AD still works after a high hit 2D. Actually it looks easier and might deal more damage in CP

Edit: We need Isuna for gameplay footage ;(

確かにロケテでマコトのコンボを色々試してるけど

OD使ってもまったく火力が伸びないんだよなー

立ち回りも5Bがjc不可ってのが結構ツライし

Mostly talking about how she looks weak and Ragna looking strong again. Last post says he tried out many things at the loketest and that he coudln't get his damage output up by using OD at all.

The positive info will be included with Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma 2, wherein Makoto is the most broken character in BB history. We get the pleasure of being competitive, but the pain of being labeled as "tier whores."

Until this time, we are expected to sit on our ass and "enjoy" what Mori has decided to give us: a strange sense of worthlessness and excommunication from the rest of the cast as per Makoto's squirrel-heritage.

the game is very different in bbcp and it is extremely likely that we only have like 30% of relevant information or something, or some changes just wont stick because they always do weird shit that doesnt stick in location tests, or at least the meaning of the changes are different in the context of other changes

not saying she cant end up bad, arcsys is obviously imperfect, but it seems to me that loketests dont correlate very solidly with how strong a character ends up, especially when there's huge overall changes

I would normally say that, but so far there hasn't seemed to be too big of a change with Makoto between the 3 loketests. And with the release so close, how comfortable would arcsys be with going "OK, Makoto needs to be fixed, lets overhaul her quickly and push it out" without any more time to test or how comfortable would we be with that? Either way, the last loketest should be really a "Let's make sure we didn't accidentally do something game-breakingly horrible," test and not "let's see if everyone likes this idea." I know that we do have little information and a relatively short amount of time to get in-sync with her CP iteration, but it's sounding like Arcsys has honed in what they want for her and don't have any time to, don't want to change her from how she is.

again, loketests are tests, not partial stages of a patch, and im sure we dont know close to everything about what changed. did we even know from cs2->cse how her hitboxes got nerfed from loketests? stuff like that easily goes under the radar of what people report. it is difficult to judge how good or bad things will end up. dont put much weight into early judgments, just wait.

Seriously need to just wait to see what else comes out, and think about whether the character is going to be more or less fun to play with the new tools given.

Really, I don't think there's much chance it will be worse than CSEX.

As far as I can see, she does look better than her EX counterpart. None of you should be panicking yet.

Stargazer juggle is gone but Shooting Star now wallsticks, aside of that we are the same as CSEX right?

But if you look at it, all the other characters got nerfed badly so we actually might be a top tier in CP.

If anything im worried about how fun Makoto will be. So far she is keeps decaying with every game while Ragna gets a whole new moveset. (sucks to be a side character)

Either way, i'll still use Makoto. The few characters that are getting strengthened, Like Carl or Noel, are kind of hard to use without a lot of practice. I'm just curious about how well she'll do against Amane, Bullet, and Azreal.

I wish Makoto could have grabbed two things from her Unlimited counterpart. 1. Throwing Nuts 2. 214214C After all, quite a few characters are getting fancy new flashy distortions and all.
