Tsuki Garyuu Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 The only time in which Bloodedge was powerful and at his best was when he was in close proximity of the Black Beast, in which he regained access to his right arm, his right eye and the Azure Grimoire. Asides that, he's just Ragna without the use of his arm, though he still retains his ability to fight despite that. They'd have to go with something unique for him if they were going to include him as playable. Me? I'm content with Ragna. I've thought for a while that sooner or later Ragna, like Sol, will have an alternate playable character himself. I wouldn't say how beyond the mere pipe dream that he'll get a super form similar to Mu and Izayoi, but if we were to get such an alternate form, I don't think it should "Bloodedge" either. Terumi, while an interesting inclusion, will (hopefully) just be playable in a prequel arc. Can't see the reason he's here otherwise unless a character time jumps again.
mitsuyoshi Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Kagura is a male, just like what i expected and i bet Jubei will get a really big spotlight in the six heroes and the true end story, because of the connection he have with the sector seven and six heroes and i bet he will have a really big role that none of us can imagine.
Surf Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Hrm. Terumi's inclusions got me thinking too. At firat I thought it was going to be one of those Order Sol things, just time hopping going on or something of the sort. It could be Terumi passed his entity to the furture and into the current Hazama's body. But I personally dont think this is a prequel. I think Terumi is here. The other day i happened to watch the CP trailer again, does anyone remember this part. Maybe this Nemesis Horizon will play a part in how Terumi is physically here now
Tokkan Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Terumi's wearing Hazama's shirt and vest in his character art, so I'm pretty sure he's from the present time. Dark War-era Terumi wore a torn up version of Kazuma's magic guild uniform.
mitsuyoshi Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Oh yeah, before i forgot here's Terumi! He looks really sadistic and cool.

Dark War-era Terumi wore a torn up version of Kazuma's magic guild uniform. I figured that was the biggest tell. His coat also has additonal markings to it that werent there before. What will happen in the story that will push him to completely relenquish his Hazama persona though. Ahhhh need the game. But oh damn October. Fuck that
Akifukete Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Apparently Terumi is a Pre-Order DLC character for the console version? Also, Kagura is voiced by the fabulous Keiji Fujiwara. I think it's only a matter of time until they announce Kokonoe as playable.
NovaFortuna Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Well, at least they're retelling the Phase Shift Novels for the people who never bothered getting them, so I guess that's a treat. I actually really like this, finally know well what happened.
TPPR10 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I think I might have a theory how Terumi would still work in present day (correct me if I am wrong on this or find this dumb) : In th beginning of Relius' story mode, it is implied that Relius met Terumi in his ghost form. How come is he in his ghost form? Was Terumi unable to bring his body out of the Boundary? If that's the case, Relius probally created new body for Terumi and maybe somewhere during the events of CP, Hazama finds out how to get his old body back from the Boundary. Even of he wouldn't appear in True End, his arcade mode would be weird if his existence isn't explained.

In Wheel of Fortune, Terumi nags Relius about it and Relius says he needs more time. The ghostly effects are puzzling though. Are those--and Terumi's old new look--trying to imply that he's not fully corporeal? If so, how the hell did that happen? CSE implies that he needs to die in order to use his ghostly form. Black Beastified Ragna will be the final boss of the 6H story hahahahahahahaha
NovaFortuna Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 From what I know the whole deal of using Kazuma's body wasn't just possess the guy, it needed quite a ritual to do so. Maybe he's bound to the physical body, and can't use it like a suit to take off and put on as he wants. Or perhaps he does, I dunno, after being killed by Relius to go visit the Takamagahara he seems okay when appearing in front of the heroes again.

Or perhaps he does, I dunno, after being killed by Relius to go visit the Takamagahara he seems okay when appearing in front of the heroes again. It wasn't exactly possession. Kazuma was created by Relius for Terumi. It was a merge. Hazama was fine and dandy after visiting Takamagahara because of the lifelink between him and Noel. You can interpret it as him having to die to visit Takamagahara and not necessarily just to take ghost form, though.
TPPR10 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 The part about visiting Takamagahara is bit confusing. You see, he was able to slip in right as they were observing the moment Ragna breaks Noel's Eye. Now if you were to make connection that Hazama's lifelink with Noel was because of the Eye, it would mean the lifelink would have been broken that point. Maybe Hazama was able to make one with Saya so that he could still return to his body.
harmless kitten Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Time may already be meaningless by that point, since Takamagahara functions on their own timescale. It may be that he was lurking about, waiting for the tiny window of time when Takamagahara was completely focused on Ragna and Mu. Alternatively, it was to wake up the Imperator. Takamagahara is not pleased to learn that he's already woken her up.
mAc Chaos Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Well, just Ragna's hatred should be enough to let him stick around.
harmless kitten Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Not forever, and it probably wouldn't repair his body.

Then how come in CT Terumi was able to troll Valk in his ghost form, despite Hazama being around? I'm disappointed Kagura is a man. Edited April 17, 2013 by Soothesayer
harmless kitten Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Retcon, Hazama died in a freak accident involving boiling eggs, he only needs to die in order to travel to the Boundary, etc. Take your pick.
Soothesayer Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 (edited) http://www.famitsu.com/news/201304/18032031.html Famitsu has full size pics for those who haven't realized yet. Kagura ehhhhhh those pants look kind of gay. Not as hype for him, his design is a bit sloppy and undefined. He looks like one of Ragna's rejects designs in some ways. Looks like Terumi is still rocking his knives. Kind of funny how he looks like an archetypical thief or assassin with the hood and knives. Edited April 17, 2013 by Soothesayer
Rishtopher Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I really, really dislike Terumi's artwork. His body proportions....Also, never realized how his clothes have basically stayed the same for the past 100 years. He did have a closet full of the same suits in his gag real though.
mAc Chaos Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 His story mode art looks better. Kagura's that is.

They haven't actually. Terumi wears Kazuma's clothes in PS1 and PS3, although they kind of hang off his frame. This Terumi is wearing Hazama's shirt, waistcoat, and tie.
Starlight777 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I wonder if this Terumi is going to be what happens when he drops the act entirely or are they just going to use this version for the phase shift flashbacks. I hope this is a result of the former happening.
Skye Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Guess this means we can break it down like this: Chronophantasma: Ragna, Jin, Noel/Mu(?), Rachel, Tao, Bang, Carl, Nu, Tsubaki/Izayoi, Amane, Six Heroes: Hakumen, Valkenhayn, Platinum, Hazama/Terumi(?) Sector 7: Tager, Azreal, Makoto, and Bullet. Sounds about right. Where the hell is Arakune? No seriously, would he be in CP or S7?
SolxBaiken Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Who cares, they're all the same d-bag D: Let's wrap up the most unimportant subplot with Arakune and Litchi...so that the PEOPLE'S HERO can arrive! Linhua
