BlackYakuzu94 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Gotta love how when Ragna, more or less, becomes the most powerful character in the series, they find someway to screw him over still. Guy just can't catch a break. ...I have to ask, why is Nu still...yandere for Ragna, I mean that's an obvious question but she was somewhat sane in the CS true ending when she "died" so what's with the sudden snapback?
Dawn of Musou Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I'm going to assume that since Terumi turned her into the Sword of the Imperator (Whatever that is), he also put her yandere back.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 So what limb will Ragna have to sacrifice to bring her back... In other news, I heard Carl say Relius has something planned for Litchi, is that true?
Dawn of Musou Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Ragna's going to have hype dog as a limb by the end of the BB series. IIRC, Carl thinks Relius is going to do something to Litchi, the only adult he cares about besides Bang. But I remember Relius saying Litchi's soul is beyond use at this point or something, she's too corrupted to serve any purpose to him.

One explanation: Lambda has only part of Nu's soul, and her memories were fragmented. She just wanted to be with Ragna. She also had a desire to impress Kokonoe even though Nu never would (source: her bad ending where "Ragna" tells her that Kokonoe is proud of her or something like that). Back in her own body, Nu reverts to full on crazy LET'S KILL EACH OTHER RAGUNAAAAAA Not to mention that Nu has only seemed sympathetic in her own story mode or as Lambda, where we have insight into her feelings. Who knows, she might be having some internal misgivings judging by Hazama's weird face in her arcade mode.
Volt Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Ragna's going to have hype dog as a limb by the end of the BB series. I wonder which limb is he going to lose this time...
mitsuyoshi Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I wonder which limb is he going to lose this time... I don't think Ragna will lose anything except his idea engine.
Vulcan422 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I wonder which limb is he going to lose this time... I'm pretty sure we all know the answer to that. His leg.
Starlight777 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I'm pretty sure we all know the answer to that. His leg. So he can have a artificial arm and leg just like Relius? Good all he needs is Nu to work for him like Ignis.
Starlight777 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 On second thought, I think Arcsys can do better than having him lose another limb.
mitsuyoshi Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 On second thought, I think Arcsys can do better than having him lose another limb. Doesn't i said it before that he will not lose anything anymore? Seriously Arcsys is not that stupid to repeat the same event over and over again instead they always make a new surprise for us especially for the story mode for example who has expect Izayoi appearance and Saya become the Imperator anyway. So basically he will get a beat down nothing more-nothing less,he will not lose any of his limb or legs.
Tong Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 All we know is that Ragna is the main character and essentially the one who will always defeat the "final boss", no matter who or what it may be. An upgrade is just a side effect of that.

Yeah,we know that he will eventually defeat the final boss, but lose is a important factor for the story, usually the best main character is the one who will get beat down all the times because usually that's will make the character to develop even stronger because they will learn from their lost in the last battle, that's why i said Ragna is absolutely will become a great main character.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 ^^That may be true, but I'm kinda tired of the protagonists losing all of the time and would actually prefer if they got some bit of leeway on the bad guys. A good conflict is a back and forth battle.

A good conflict is a back and forth battle. Me too, I would like to see Ragna defeat Terumi in CP, I hope that he is not the true main final boss in the game, but someone else who we haven't been introduced to yet. Hopefully not Saya either, that would just suck.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Pfft, Hazama's not gonna die, he's too memorable. That said, I hope he suffers some type of setback in this game.
Tokkan Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I just remembered this and I don't think it's really been brought up, Gain Art (Gain Arte?) is not something exclusive to Izayoi. Ragna mentions it in Azrael's ending while he was pondering out loud about possible sources for Azrael's power and Bullet says "Gein Aato" (Gain Art) when using a burst. I wonder what Gain Art actually is.

NovaFortuna Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 -Noel: Oh my god, they cut off Ragna's arm/leg! -Makoto: You bastards!
Volt Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Well, Kokonoe said in the true ending of continuum shift that Ragna shouldn't put much strain in the arm she made with the lambda stuff. But it's probably nothing to worry about right?
kylehyde Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 He'll probably get it broken off at the end of the game again. It wouldn't surpirse me anyway.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I gotta admit, Ragna fighting with only one arm would be surprisingly badass and bring him closer to Bloodedge.
TPPR10 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 So we know that Amane fights Rachel as his arcade final boss. The fact that he fights Rachel does sound rather important, but if this video is to believe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2pJEklt7tU It seems like Amane just runs to Rachel, they fight and that pretty much it for the two of them in long run. At this point, Amane seems just to be cool idea for a character by playstyle, as so far he doesn't show almost any importance to the plot.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Neither Amane nor Bullet seem to have much importance at this point....maybe it's because we haven't seen their arcade mode. I mean Azreal got his and look how much shit we got it in it. Bodying everyone, and then him and Ragna have a duel of GAR.
