You mean Ashura? They kind of buffed it what with the "everyone gets OD Ver supers" thing

It was in one of those very early vids on famitsu's youtube channel I believe. He like' vanishes from all over the place a bunch of times then hits em. Not sure how much min damage it does though..

So 236236A hasn't actually changed, and only looks cooler? That's pretty silly lol.

I love how Bang is looking though. But I'm not too sure what to think of some of his bumper placement. He has this bumper that is set on the ground right? I kind of preferred it on the air. That way, the opponent who already knows about the cross up would have to guess whether I'm gonna do a cross up, or go back to mess with his/her head. Now, its just cross up. Then again, I think that gives Bang more defensive options right? Is Bang invincible when he goes through the bumpers? Because that can make for some nice saves, like moving up or back at the last second before a wake up move.

Well, it should do more damage lol. I'm not sure what other kind of change you expected since this is how pretty much all damaging OD DDs are, they just have an extra animation in there that makes them look cooler and stronger.

 

 

As for the bumper, that's just one of the 4 bumpers he has, he doesn't have to set the one on the ground lol. He can set the one in the air too.

Oh okay, that's all I needed to hear! And nah its fine, I wasn't expecting powerful buffs on supers. It just looked like they could have done something with the damage if they were gonna animate Bang's 236236A

Ashura already does more minimum damage than OD Daifunka though, that's the thing. You just never scale the combo down all the way in FRKZ due to the very high proration routes and short duration so daifunka ends up being the better thing to end combos with but if you check out the minimum damage of each hit on the wiki, they do add up as less than non-OD Ashura's minimum damage.

 

 

Now with OD Ashura we'll get even higher minimum damage than we already had, which is awesome and will push FRKZ upper limit damage up even more.

Alllllll the Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan!!! It averages to about 3 Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan combos per match!

I kinda expected 5D>CT to be a thing so that's not even the most impressive. The most impressive to me was the 4seal off of normal hit 6D combo lol.

 

6D>623B>2B>5D>jD>j236C>2D>jC>j2C 4seals 2.5k for nothing.

That's much tighter since you have to jump the jD though and can be tricky later on. 5D>jD being a thing is just very funny to me, I guess it's cause of how it used to work in the past lol.

Hey guys I had a tournament in Youmacon at the Renaissance Center in Detroit, MI. I placed 5th out of 16 people. I'll show you guys the footage later. Shout out to A.X.I.S as well with a few others. Ikegami is looking very strong! The buff to 5D and JC into JD really makes mid screen possible! Can't wait for 2.0.

JC JD isn't much of a buff to mid-screen game. Bang already had strong mid-screen standing and aerial confirms. I would rank his among the strongest in the game. Any normal starter was (and still is) corner-to-corner carry. Short starters gave damn near half-screen carry. The JC JD "buff's" REAL use is to procure proper okizeme off random aerial confirms, particularly with short starters, by way of basic 2-seal route (jd web nail 5c 6d) as opposed to j2c knockdown that the opponent can easily disrespect. Don't know why we're making it seem as if it's something GREAT
