not fun for testament. its his worst match-up

axl is a lot better at mid range than testament is.

ideally you want to make use of your high curse and your sexebeast and limit him to his j.s (which is really good in this fight). keep in mind that axl can use his cross up move to really destroy your beasts. make sure you are not too predictable with these and if you are, make sure you have a net in your face or something.

hopefully you can catch him with your j.d or j.s and convert that with a knockdown into oki into a curse. i stress the fact that the curse completely turns the tide in this fight. it will be a really long fight without it.

one of the hardest matches i play vs. one of my close friends. When Axl gets cursed, he is seriously in trouble. He cannot do much of anything to get out of it, so apply correct pressure/mixup/knockdowns/oki and he will collapse shortly. Warrant 2HS if he is dumb enough to do it. Not much else i know other than after i get a knockdown/curse it is usually a wrap, and when i cant do those things i get beat up. His j.s is RETARDED to try and beat in this. Get used to blocking and wait for an opening.

A few short notes on previous comments: -Axl players probably shouldn't be relying on getting 63214S (cross-up move) against an EXE beast. It's really slow. -While what DoomieJ says is definitely true, don't get too confident about that collapse. There's always good, old-fashioned blocking to fall back on (But yeah, that's pretty much it as far as options at that point).
