Also I managed to gather some combos from the first vid and add them to the combo thread (I'll do the second part sometime in the near future), but since I can't test them myself I'm not 100% sure on all the info so please correct me if you see a mistake. And was I the only one who never noticed a move similar to how 2B was described? I'm beginning to wonder if what we thought was his 6A is actually his 2B and his 6A is either something completely different or he doesn't have a 6A at all.

Also anything else you guys want me to test I can give a shake. WillWork4Instal: In regards to Amane vs Hazama that was the matchup I ended up playing the most yesterday. Obviously it was just day 1 putzing around so I can't say anything conclusive. I think the only thing I noticed worth mentioning is that if you have a ground drill out (236d, a/b/c) it will clash with Hazama's chain, essentially blocking it. But also, going into the drill stance naked is just asking for a chain to the face and eating a combo.

I'm curious how fast we can get drills out on the screen.

Can you see if you can do xx > 623C > 3C > 236D~A for guaranteed oki in the corner after a combo? so how is Amane supposed to be used? he doesn't really look like a pure zoner like v-13, he's not rushdown either. =/ He can certainly zone with his C moves and pick up into combos from them, but at the same time he's looking to have solid mid-range options to keep control of neutral. He's not a rushdown character but he can still put on the pressure. Of course this is still day 1 so I expect we'll be finding out more about him in the days to come.

As for how is Amane is supposed to be used I think Toasty is on the right track. He doesn't have strong full screen zoning, no. And he doesn't have point blank rush down either. What he does feel like he has is a really solid mid-screen neutral game and potentially a very good oki game. It also feels like he has tools to help enforce that mid screen distance that he enjoys, lots of moves that either push the enemy back or move himself backwards (like his overhead). What it feels like he is lacking is a strong, reliable way to get out of something like corner lock down pressure. These are, of course, just Day 1 impressions. It will be quite fun to see how everything actually shakes out.

That move is Gekiren, 623C. Also, if this one isn't too much to ask. It seems like we have some confusion as to what his 2B actually looks like, and I can't seem to find it used in the latest videos. Honestly I may have just overlooked it, but Toasty said he's not sure either.

I'm 99% sure that Litchi cannot be pulled while in her stance, but I'd need confirmation from someone familiar with the matchup to be completely sure. If she can't be pulled, then there's hope for Amane as well.
