What are some good 5( C ) and 6C FC combos to do with and without heat? I'm not getting nearly as much as damage off of these as I think I should.

 

5[C] -> 5B -> 5C -> 6C -> jc -> j.C -> land -> j.B -> j.C -> land -> j.B -> j.C -> land -> 5C -> 3C -> Miquelet -> 5B -> 6B -> j.C -> j.D

 

Does like 4kish and will carry to the corner

Quick optimization:

 

FC 5[C], 5[C] - 6C jc j.C land j.B - j.C land j.B - j.C land 5[C] - 3C xx Miquelet, 5B - 6B jc j.C - j.D

4303 damage, 30 heat

Great contribution gerwulf but I don't see myself landing CH 3C as often for CT combos, I really want to apply these so badly.

6B makes it easier to connect into 623C, I believe.

Sorry for double post can't edit on my phone, but I prefer to to keep opponent in the corner so if I 6b 623c wouldn't that get them out, and I lose that little advantage and pressure I have?

Just hold the stock unless you know you can kill off lvl.1 heat. I've contemplated this set up before just to abandon the whole concept since you'll whiff your next attack after 5B/6B or they'll sometimes tech before 5C. Though if you're so desperately want to waste the stock do 5B because that's almost guaranteed to hit before they tech and jump cancel it into high low mix-up. They're still in the corner, you have no stock, and very poor oki to work with.

If I had one heat and was in the corner, I would rapid after 5D (giving me two heat), 5C, 3C, capture, D,6B, air capture, 6C, jump, J.C 6B, J.C, J.D. retains one heat and corner and does lots of damage. Mind you, the above combo may have to go 6C, J.D instead, I forget when they fall out of the combo.

 

Edit: Now that I'm home, and assuming I understood the topic correctly..

 

One heat, 50 meter, corner

5D, Rapid, 5C, 3C, Miquelet Capture + D, 6B, Snap Hands Fist (Air Grab), Dash, 6C, Jump, J.C, 6B, J.C, J.D = 3794 damage, 1 heat level, and corner, and builds 15% meter (-35% total after rapid).

 

One heat, 50 meter, corner off 5B starter.

5B, 5C, 5D, Rapid, 5C, 3C, Miquelet Capture + D, 5B, 6B, Snap Hands Fist (Air Grab), Dash, 6C, J.D = 4414 damage, 1 heat level, and corner, and builds 19% meter (-31% total after rapid).

 

If you're in the corner and don't want to spend meter/don't have it..

 

5D, D, 6B, Miquelet Capture 5B, J.B, J.C, 6B, J.B, J.C, J.D is 2615 damage and 18% meter. But you'd get 1.1k damage just for doing 5D, and have level 2 heat saved up for your next hit.

Anyone know the damage difference for 6A being applied after the blast? I played this character for almost half a year and I still don't know her move list so I'll just write out the notation. Just picture you're holding two stocks of heat since I think 6A is only available at that time.

 

5B 5C 41236C 236D 6A 236[A] 5B 6B jC jD

 

compared to

 

5B 5C 41236C 66 5B jB jC 6B jC jD <----I'm more familiar with going this route no matter the level but is it worth knowing the variation up top? I haven't tested the damage difference since it's one in the morning here.

My bad about the advice earlier itzwiitard, I wasn't thinking of holding 50 heat and just going with a raw 5D level 1 wall bounce combos, the reward is so poor I can only suggest holding onto heat until you're in level two for the wall stick. Take Rhyllis advice at this point since they're more or less stable options to follow up with.

Yeah, you can only do 6A after 41236C 236D if you have Heat Up level 2.

 

The damage differences are:

5B > 5C > 41236C > 236D > 66A > 236[A] > 66C > j.C > 6B > j.C > j.D 4408
5B > 5C > 41236C > 236D > 66 5B > j.B > j.C > 6B > j.C > j.D 3976

I think you might be able to do more after 6C, but I can't remember and my execution is bad.

You actually don't have to RC. You can dash 6A>236A full charge>6A>41236C>236D>6B>Jump Cancel>j.C>j.D

 

Does about 4K I believe

55 meter, 2 heat, you are cornered, 4B+C>236[A]>6A>5A+B>3C>41236C>236D>6B>623C>2363214C

 

Both net a little above 5.2K

5B > 5C > 41236C > 236D > 66A > 236[A] > 66C > j.C  > 6B > j.C > j.D 440

The second one can be optimized to do 5031 with red lock like so

Is there anyway to land capture of a level 1,i know 6b works on some of the cast but not all, or at least I couldn't get it to,

And thanks for that combo I have always done 6a after 236(a),but 6c seems to do more damage,

66 5B after Miquelet Capture with Heat Up Level 1 should work on the whole cast.  You may have to delay it a bit on some characters.

On smaller characters such as Carl, you'll have to delay the 6B after 5DD a bit.

All I can say after watching that video is "Blazblue hitboxes are amazing." XD

 

Edit: Random Air Throw combo:

Air Throw > 6A > 236[A] > 66A > 5C > 2C > 5D (2987, 21 Heat)

CH 3C, CT, IAD, jC, 66, 5B, jB, jC, 6B, jC, jD.

Tested on Carl, Arakune and Azrael.

Need to test, but probably work off raw CT on airborne character.

 

Any tips on how to combo after non CH 6C?
