Haven't posted here in forever. Personally, even if she is low tier, doesn't mean you can't win matches regardless. Though, I might pick up Rachel again.

Does my outfit include a hat with squirrel ears? Perhaps a large sack of nuts to drape around my waste? You know... to command the squirrels... or something...

On a different subject, though... I'm going to Japan next week! Hopefully I'll be able to meet Goro and have him body me real hard.

We derail all the time, but always go back to gameplay, I wouldn't worry about it lol.

One thing I've noticed about Makoto in CP is that if you were to backtrack her to extend, with the buffs she has now (minus overdrive of course) I'm pretty sure she'd be S tier again. Watching S tier in CP is ridiculous tho, Tao, Haku, Jin, Hazama... freakin Litchi they all got buffed like no tomorrow. So even tho Makoto is 'strong' she remains B tier, maybe B+. maybe even A-.

I'm pretty sure Makoto isn't as weak as B tier right now. In fact, I'd say she's really strong right now.

CS2 Makoto can only get like 1800 of Midscreen hit, another hit after the knockdown = corner combo => 4000. So thats only 6000. In CP midscreen hit = 3000 + orb oki, hit after knockdown = 4000. CP Makoto is the bessssst.

As far as tier list goes. Makoto is not as weak as it used to be in EX, that's all what we need to know for the time being :eng101: further improvement is also possible. With time things might get better.

I'm ok with CP Makoto so far, i just want her dash to be back, i want a waaaaay much more complicated combo build, and a lot of advanced stuff or stuff that gives the character its special persona (such as litchi/carl glide throw) it feels pretty lacking in BB tbh.

Its pretty known that 2B kills Litchi CA, especially if you ended up with orb oki on Litchi and she have 50% heat but no staff.

I respect Makoto wins against Tao so much because its always done by hard work rather than throwing braindead stuff (✿◕‿◡)

j.CC cross up is only reliable when we fight Tager. Dunno about CP, link me to the match were you found it.

Something like that? Looking at the frame data, I don't think it should be able to do such a thing to Ragna's, but it's probably just because of how close Makoto's Hurt boxes would be compared to the hit boxes of Ragna's 5B. It just barely missed her, and it was probably a fluke it happened.

Makoto height during 2B is not good enough to low profile Ragna's CA unless she stuck the exposed hurtbox of her head into Ragna's body to avoid being hit and that only happens because characters during CA have Invu and allow the opponent to go through or really close to the core of their hitbox. Anyway, I don't remember Makoto 2B being able to bypass Ragna's CA, even if it happened its like one of a million chance. Thats because Ragna's CA have so many active that it spoils our opportunity to low profile it, it must be something new in CP. Either Ragna CA having less active frames, or Makoto hitbox is now smaller.

I love watching Kuroko. Good player, fun to watch, and one hell of a big Makoto fan (✿◕ᴥ◕)

I can't help but get so hyped for CP!

Makoto looks really good this time around, (I don't care about tiers, all the characters can be dangerous in their own way) Watching some videos, Makoto kicked Bullet's and Amane's ass.

CS2 Makoto, prepare to step off stage and let CP Makoto take the spotlight!

In Japan right now!

Had some fun playing at Sega Akihabara tonight. Shooting Star command change confused me a fuckton; new combos are fun and easy to execute; still need a 1P cabinet to practice all the new stuff.

It'll be interesting to see what all she can low-profile with her 2B this time around. I remember she could low-profile her own DP... Gold trolled me with that a bit, lol.

Finally back from Apex and caught up on whatever real-life stuff I missed. Vid thread is up to date, and a big thanks to you guys for posting so that it was easier to update. :) Sometime soon I'll be remodeling it to look/navigate better.

Got the chance to make a small, subtle shout-out to err'body's favorite squirrel while on the live-stream at Apex. B)

I am so pumped for CP, I'm probably going to play with Makoto, Noel, and Bullet! But I'm most pumped for OD Makoto!
