I know you've been telling people how bad I am but that's okay since it's true and it only serves to anger me and continue trying. Shoutouts to Saph for telling me I should beg them to play them because it was hard in their day so it should they have to make things hard on everyone, too. Gotta have that Tough OG shit to make people HARD. I respect that! Gotta let people know weakness not acceptable around here! I want more of that shit! Takes me back to Tribes, Battlefield, and Counter-Strike. I live for this shit! Casuals should be a dollar a match at locals! Stop Breeding Scrubs into the community! I think you need to be more agressive with Baiken so I can't setup things that I want to do. I felt they were pretty close matches and will be for a while. I think Baiken is an easier matchup for Robo Ky compared to a lot of rushdown characters. I think you need to be more agressive with Baiken so I can't setup things that I want to do. I felt they were pretty close matches and will be for a while. Very surprising - I felt completely incompetent. There's no longer any reason to try to be more aggressive at this point until I know how to not get counter hit like an idiot. Otherwise it's like you just do what you do as if telling me "stop hitting yourself!", which is how it often goes after a few matches with most anyone. I have zero defense. That's just entirely unacceptable. I used to go 0-50. Then I used to go 0-25. Then I would try for 0-10. Now i settle for being double eliminated: 0-4. it's the only thing that matters for my goals, anyways. There are not even a handful of people on the site I have the energy and stamina to play for more than 5 anymore. Give me a minute and I could name em...I am entirely cool with them continually double-perfecting me. Edited January 1, 2013 by Star-Demon
Dreiko Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 GGs for today, those were some fun matches. Slayer just hits like a truck and has pretty decent mixup too. You kinda want to basically not give him any space or time to breath, otherwise tons of damage.

That's just entirely unacceptable. Trust me. i went 2-16 against Dreikoo even though I felt maybe 8-10 matches were close. King_Free also bodied me am beat me winning like 15 straight. I force myself to play until they quit knowing it's the only way to improve. Heck, I even went like 2-15 against dxmds. i have my small winning streaks too. I guess you either can keep practicing, learning the game, playing or just stop. If you aren't enjoying it, or the challenge of the struggle, then maybe you should find other things to spend your time on. Fighting games are a huge time investment. You should enjoy it. I'm not better than you I don't think. At least, I'm in the same skill level. You're Litchi is much more versatile and deals more damage then mine. Making figure out why you are playing the game. I'm a composer in life transitioning between undergraduate school and grad school while trying to figure out career options. I play because I find the game fun and I like the elements of fighting games. I don't practice well enough because I'm putting a lot of times in scores and other things. But I do play because I really want to.

I can only do it like 25-50% and that's not even in combos. I suppose a few days of 2k 2s 5H frc 66 etc. should do something positive.

After hearing "Star can't do anything GC and tatami" I figured it was time to just glue myself to the ground and try to play some Real Honest Fightin' because otherwise I'll never shut them up.

This is how you get better, you just grind it out. :D I finally fought a good Millia...and oh boy is she trouble with those oki setups and instant overheads. I won maybe a third of the matches but it was all entirely fun. Played the same random person for like 3 hours lol.

Jesus I used to only do this shit for those 14-hour Everquest sessions. 2003 welcome back. I think I still play too much - others have pointed out I play too much. I'd play for hours in that condition. Right, this situation was me basically not knowing the matchup and adjusting to stuff which...is basically really good and effective. I had quite a few answers for these things but mine were situational while his was organized and consistent so he'd get his stuff much more than I got mine. Still though we both were a danger to one-another and each game win or lose felt like something which left you a tad bit better than you were before. :P
