Hah, no... apparently not. They're calling for snow from morning to night. Not full-on-blizzard or anything, but definite snow in the air.

Forgot to ask earlier, but is there a PS3 setup there, or is/are the only setup/s there 360?

I'm going to try and have a PS3 there. No guarantees. I also have nothing in the way of PS3 games. :\

Well, in that case at least things would only need to be installed once, and as far as I recall (since I've had them installed for a bit now anyway), KOFXIII/P4A/BBCSX/TTT2 don't really have characters that require unlocking, which is good. Now...Soul Calibur V on the other hand...

I've got a PS3 for tomorrow. I'll have Persona for it at the very least in a week or so.

Yeah, this snow isn't going away. Also, you guys need to come to HQ for some GG. I'm pretty sure Rigel needs someone else to beat on besides me. That and he plays Potemkin and that's never fun.

Except with Chipp. That was actually kinda interesting,

Blagh, freaking winter. And Potemkin? Oh lord, my best friend plays Potemkin and having him just do the equivalent of half a round's worth of work with Millia in about 1 second.

I should make it this week barring random calamity.

I don't know about in Ottawa itself, but down here, I don't think the snow's let up at all. Urgh....why stuff gotsa keep making me look like a scrub...

Cool. I think this is probably like, the first Ottawa FGC stream ever. I can give some thoughts/comments on how it looks at points if you want.

Go right ahead. I'll probably have to do a lower-quality encode in the future, since I can't even stream the archive after the fact. Haha. Gotta buffer that shit.

The connection to Twitch caps at roughly 9.2Mbps, so broadcasting in the 6 to 7 Mbps range shows little in the ways of hiccups.

I noticed, and it could just be due to the archived part, but when watching Blazblue sometimes the audio would repeat for a bit in the background while the video kept going at like the title and character select screens. A lower quality one might be nice, I agree though. I dunno how stuff works so I don't know if to do that you condense the quality as it goes or what.

My only problem watching the archive was that the stream was so godlike, I had to pause and wait for it to buffer.

Try and see if you can get an overlay up.

All I have to do is install Jaxel's Xsplit overlay. It's no biggie.

That's me opening up the stream in another window. Haha. My streaming rig was the only machine with a connection capable of watching that much dope-ass quality without buffering for years.

It's nice to know I can max out like that. That was a butter-smooth 720p encode at disgusting levels of quality.

GGs last night. Hash, keep up with that Jam. I have a Wii SE stick with your name on it.

I'm in there like swimwear

Man, Bang in BBCP looks mad fun. Almost BBCT level of gimmicks. Maybe this will bring me back?

Essay, why don't you try Taokaka out?

Posted

I can second trying Tao out, and not just because I sometimes play her for random laughs, but because she actually is fun to use, is always decent tier wise, and is a kind of funny character.

Super secret talk: frustrated with the directions they've taken Boobie Lady and Squirrel Girl, I'm already trying Tao out to bide the time until Izayoi is playable. She's fun, but god damn I don't like having to confirm standing vs crouching for my ground combos. And then there's that damned thing BB loves: combos involving dash>5B... NOT the 6B that my hands seem to want to do half the time. I mean, I've gotten 66>5x combos down in other games (Robo Ky's 80% heat jab confirms and everything in MK9 come to mind); I just have to actually play the game to get used to the timing.

In conclusion, I'll play her as long you have the halloween/Jubei orange-and-black colour unlocked. :kitty:

I had a good deal of fun at the last monday AC session, and I'd like to try going to one of the ottawa HQ meet ups. I got an idea of where it is, clemow and bronson iirc, but is there any way I could get a specific address? Would love to play more when I got the time!

Oh, I totally know what you mean on the dash>5whatever stuff. I'm just lucky that P4A doesn't seem to have like say, 6B so I can get away with dash>5B much more easily.
