crimsonstardust Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Hey new here and I got a question for anyone that can answer it. So I know in some games like the Street Fighter 4 series you can set guards to random when your practicing hit confirms. I know that at least for BB and P4A they have combos that are crouch specific, what do you guys do to practice confirming that you are hitting them and they are crouching? One of the problems I have is noticing that my opponent is crouching and I could of gone for more damage and such. I know for a fact you can set the dummy to crouch but I haven't seen an option where they crouch randomly so you can go for crouch specific combos.
Kurushii Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 If you want it to be random then your only option is to do a macro for it using Save/Play or setting it to CPU Controlled.
CakeWasBannedd Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 just get it so you recognize when they're crouching and then go into the crouch-specific combo just jsut justt use your eyes
CupofT Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Set dummy to crouch and set guard to random. Or do what Kurushii suggested.
crimsonstardust Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Alright I'll try out what Kurushii suggested, thanks for the inputs guys glad I joined Dustloop.
YukiBlue Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I'd say some characters have a harder time than others hitconfirming into Standing / Crouching. Which character do you play?
crimsonstardust Posted January 17, 2013 Author Posted January 17, 2013 I rotate between Ragna and Noel as my mains in BB, for P4A I use Yu and Elizabeth.
excelence Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 I usually just practicing by setting the dummy into normal ai then do Multi attack starter to hit confirm ... for Ragna case 5b>5c(confirm)>6c/Hellfang, Noel >5b/2b>2c(confirm)>3c/OB.
