Before Ishiwatari reveals any updates for the future, we probably will just have to assume it's Dizzy. Since every evidence is pointing towards her and also I'm really, really curious about the 3rd servant of "That Man".

So far there are only Raven and I-No.. can it possible be a clone of Aria or something close to that?? I'm getting really excited!!!

im gonna take a stab and say its anji just cuz one of the endings in reload show him following him, and anji does communicate wit That Man alot in ac+.

1. "That Woman"...lol....sounds like "That Man"'s distant cousin.

2. Somehow I don't think Anji's the type to wear a goofy "tube" hat, going by the silhouette images I've seen of That Man's henchman...and he's not some creepy thing crawling along the ceiling like in the Lightning the Argent Novel pic.

pft everyone wears strange stuff in gg2. i wouldnt be suprised if anji turned his elaborate scarves and robes into a much more conservative outfit. i mean That Man may like women dressing slutty (ino), but a man doing it might be a big nono around his office.

oh one last thing. blade u mind doing a full translation of slayer's story in ac. i read thru the night of knives summary, and all ur posts (read all 64 pages of this thread today), and ur other posts (including the brief summary of all the ac stories), and it seems slayer has a big part in everyone's story. i know u said slayer spoke in difficult to translate poetics but if u have made any headway, id really like to read it. thks!

ABA's Story Part 1: A.B.A.’s Story Slayer relates an old story of his by starting off with a toast (drinking with the audience). He begins by relating how ordinarily a drinking glass is still a glass, until it stands on its own. He talks about what things will do to obtain their wishes, even if they are considered inanimate objects by others. Slayer states the year as “25 years ago”, assuming that he means 25 years before GGXX, the year he recalls would be 2156 in the midst of the Crusades. He refers to this story as “Shinigami no Hanashi sa.” [A Death God’s Story]. Slayer relates that during this time of turmoil, there were many places that humans refused to dwell, and as such many “inhuman” creatures existed, even beyond Gears. Slayer decided it was time to go for a stroll and explore the regions that mankind named “No-Man’s Land” or rather uninhabited spots of the world. It was in these places where conflict and Holy War were common, where destruction was rampant and anything inhuman was considered an enemy. ~~~ A giant beast tramps across the land, growling and roaring. It had apparently been the lone survivor of a great battle, and yet it still craved even more battles... Slayer was curious so he went to take a “closer look” at this survivor. Slayer introduces himself with his bravado (“As soon as I see you, it’s over…”). The creature wastes no time and swings widely with its massive claws, blasting Slayer into a wall. Slayer’s impressed, but says it’s a bit excessive and rude. The beast presses further into the attack, but Slayer dodges expertly, saying it’s lucky he DID dodge. He commends the beast saying he’s a fine warrior. Nagel: “I don’t care…even if I’m called a legend by humans…” Slayer’s surprised he’s all alone, given the circumstance. Slayer offers to “get serious” with him, saying he was rude to misjudge this creature, but even so, he is a hindrance to human existence. The beast shrugs it off with a “Whatever…you better get ready for my strength” retort. Slayer wonders if he’s just picking random fights, though he doesn’t care either way. Nagel: “My name is Flament Nagel. And anyone who doesn’t want to bleed should just go home!” Slayer asks what sort of creature he was intended to be. Flament says he was a weapon. Slayer says that this alone is good enough for him to fight, saying he can come at any time. Slayer wants to see what moves this Flament Nagel has at his disposal. Nagel takes this as an insult and rushes him directly, though Slayer dodges cleanly, saying this just made him yawn. Nagel goes all out with a flurry of swipes. Slayer dodges these with ease, saying he’s starting to get interesting. Slayer starts off with his Mach Punch. Flament Nagel blocks it…asking him if that was his “true fist” mockingly. Slayer says that if this were a game he hasn’t started having fun yet. The two glaringly clash in their attacks. Slayer says hold on…Flament Nagel asks him if he realized it yet. Slayer says that he noticed the body isn’t conscious and that the “true enemy” is the weapon embedded in the body. Flament Nagel says most humans wouldn’t catch on to this fact. This is because he is known as “Setsuna no Shura” [Carnage Incarnate]. Slayer says that may well be, but he isn’t fighting a human at this juncture anyway. Slayer really doesn’t care what Flament calls himself. Flament Nagel demands that Slayer acknowledge his strength. Slayer says for him to show him. Slayer: “Endure this! PILE BUNKER!!” The roar of the beast Flament Nagel echoes across the wasteland as the shockwaves resonate. Slayer: “Farewell…you were pretty fun for a while” And with this Slayer walks away. ~~~ More later...

Yeah, all of the CD Dramas are awesome! Especially, the XX Drama ~ Black. Where it give us a pretty good inside to the fans! I love the beginning of the part, where the showdown between Sol and Dizzy! : vs Before this, I would never imagine she would be such a bad girl ! Lol Anyways, yeah I'm looking forward for some the translations of "Night of Knives" drama. Hell Yeah !!!

Yeah..it was pretty sad in the beginning of the XX Drama ~ Black.. Everyone is dying..Johnny died, May and her crew died as well.. Not sure about Potemkin or Sol..but I think that pretty much lost after all... Since Dizzy is waaaaaaaaay too powerful. Her voice in the drama kind of freak me out a bit. Thanks to I-No, everything has changed ! (Though she's still evil) lol!

i just remembered from Dizzy's ending in XX, That Man remarks that to her that "you have his face." (i wonder who he means ) Of course that's from the end where she loses to I-no. Dr. Paradigm should make a family tree for these folks. He LOVES charts. Seriously, its his hobby.

You guys are jumping to conclusions faster than I can write summaries. And for the record they are SUMMARIES, NOT TRANSLATIONS. (If I could completely translate the dialogue I would, but since I'm not exactly 100% Japanese literate/comprehensive, I do what I can by ear. Zazz, stop spreading bad mojo, you know these guys believe a lot of what you say!

ok im just assuming for this but remember when justice said to sol she wished the 3 of them could meet one last time? the following is a diagram of assumptions ....................../---that man--/----justice isnt aria but was merely the result of gear projct who is the...---/....................\----justice is aria 3rd person?......\ .......................\---dizzy-------would imply sol is father do remember that justice didnt know sol was a gear until their 2nd and final fight. that would mean that if aria was justice, she never found out that sol was turned into a gear which implies that man could have also secretly turned aria into justice as well as sol beforehand. if aria isnt justice, then justice is just a new character. these are all just assumptions btw.

If there was a character I loved most besides Anji Mito (given my name, lol), it would have to be Axl Low . That's why a few years ago me and a friend decided to translate Axl and Slayer's side story.

Hey Blade, Is the GG Xtra manga consider to be canonical material in the Guilty Gear series ??

It's written by the same writer who did the novels and the story modes, and I don't think there's anything in it that contradicts the story as a whole, so I don't think there's any reason to think it's non-canon. It's also got early appearances by the PWAB, I-No in a single panel, and a photograph of Frederick, That Man, and Aria, so stuff in the manga was revisted later, to varying degrees.
