Lou_Cypher Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 By the way, I checked that ending again for GGX+ I can definitely make out Raven and I-No...you sure conehead isn't part of that man's "throne" thingie? It doesn't look human....oh wait, that's not much of a surprise is it?
Lou_Cypher Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 the new servant of that man is Carl from BB, im telling you That would work if someone from That Man's group travels to the Blazblue dimension and picks up someone there. Surely that can't happen? Oh wait, Raven....
Lou_Cypher Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Anji's conehead! Travelled back in time with I-No's help.... And the thing in the ceiling's Eddie! This is confusing....
Blade Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Stop fingerpointing, you're making my head hurt...
SolRocks Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Dude, that's pretty nice picture of all the servants! There are I-No, Raven, Cone head, and....Eddie?! WTF!! that cone head sure doesn't look like Anji-Mito to me !!
Chainsaw Guitar Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Geez... Can't Daisuke go ONE game without killing someone?!. By the end of GGX Kliff, Justice & Zato-1 are already dead. In GGX2 Eddie, I-No, Potemkin, Dizzy & Venom all have the possibility of dying. Makes me worried that some may not make it to GGX3... Well, if I-No doesn't make it, then i wouldn't care... But Eddie definitely seems like a goner. :8/:
Hecatom Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 dont worry, im pretty sure that no one died in gg (conting apart kliff, justice and zato of course), remember that every one has a bad ending and 2 good endings, maybe except for ino
Zazz Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 maybe except for ino and in the questions for GG2, it mentions I-no still working for That Man, so i guess some people don't have any official endings
SolRocks Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 and in the questions for GG2, it mentions I-no still working for That Man, so i guess some people don't have any official endings yeah, i wonder how will she look in the future..
DonMungMung Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 By the way, I checked that ending again for GGX+ I can definitely make out Raven and I-No...you sure conehead isn't part of that man's "throne" thingie? It doesn't look human....oh wait, that's not much of a surprise is it? We're both talkin' 'bout this picture, right? http://img380.imageshack.us/my.php?image=solendingcva1su6.jpg The thing on his right seemed like a human figure to me, especially after seein' the illustration in the Ky novel (which I saw before the endings). And I don't think That Man has a throne persay; I think he just sits on any rubble that happens to be nearby haha.
Blade Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Dude, that's pretty nice picture of all the servants! There are I-No, Raven, Cone head, and....Eddie?! WTF!! that cone head sure doesn't look like Anji-Mito to me !! First of all, when quoting someone, it's impolite to include the picture they posted, just leave the url out of the quote. Or maybe that's just my preference. Anyways, don't assume it's Eddie because this pic was drawn for Lightning the Argent (which takes place BEFORE GGX People!), which means that it is either another character altogether or perhaps the thing from the ceiling is just a broken gargoyle statue. Regarding that, in another pic: http://www.guiltygear.ru/images/gallery/ggxplus_sm_so3.jpg Sol's third Story Mode Ending in GGX+ only features THREE Henchmen, so maybe that pic is decieving, or we just don't know. In any case: THAT MAN--Wears a cloak with the words "Heaven Made Man for it's own Reason, Men Respect Men for their Own Sake" etched into it. He is referred to as "His Holiness" by Raven, and Gearmaker by everyone else. Sol just calls him "Ano Otoko" "That Man" In some respects he reminds ME personally of an ascetic monk. He seems to be capable of existing in the high-density dimension of The Backyard for long periods of time, which he says would crush any normal human being (he compliments Sol for finally attaining a similar state with his body). Unlike the others, he is not immortal, but instead his age is reversing. Justice at one point is quoted as saying about him to Ky Kiske, "Remember well, young Knight, even if I die, the Gears will not! As long...as long as that man...still...lives..." Raven "The Undying Disease"--Seems to have changed appearance in various incarnations of himself (i.e. number of times he's died), from spike growths throughout his body to a single spike through his head and metallic claws, wears the logo "Live" on his clothes, and the phrase "My body is a temple. Well, we shall see..." etched in another language. The first time he died took place in the Dark Ages. He says in his backstory that he fought in a northern army (Norse?) and when he was killed everything faded to white...then he found himself alive with his wounds beginning to close...not sure if his origins relate directly to Axl, but the two share a coexistence polarity where one cannot be in the same proximity of the other. That Man states that while Raven is unchanging and constant (in Timelines), that Axl will always shift when in proximity. Whether or not every time Axl jumps in time because Raven is nearby is unclear, however. But it might suggest that Raven's movements near Axl are part of the trigger. Other things to note about him: In LtA Novel, he is capable of dueling with Faust in a spatial warp battle and winning. He is also capable of turning into an astral projected Raven himself, and firing his signature move "Traurig Sieger (Unhappy Victor)" energy spears from his body. Sol "The Immoral Flame/Flame of Corruption" has yet to best him in the times they have fought. Raven states that he is willing to protect THAT MAN at all cost, though THAT MAN dismisses the idea and says he will have a more important role of bearing witness to History. I-no: What we know is that she has altered history to suit her tastes, even going so far as to brainwash Ky so that he does not remember the encounter they had (i.e. removing his memories of her). That Man refers to her power as "Temporal Change" but she says that's not exactly what it is she does. She has the power to control soundwaves, alter sound current (i.e. air flow vibrations related to sound), since she can control air and sound, flying is easy. She is merciless, unpredictable, and probably a wild-card, her alliance with That Man might be temporary. Though Anji Mito somehow managed to outsmart her and seal her up in crystal as a favor to That Man in AC+, we don't know if that actually happened. Her ultimate goal seems to be to put all the "stars" on the "stage" of history. Her guitar's name is Marlene. I-no refers to Justice as "Trash to be Discarded", among other Gears That Man has created. She playfully refers to Sol as "Kusou Yarou" as a nickname more than an insult though it's a bit of both. Axl claims to have seen pictures of her throughout history, perhaps relating to the Gear Project, perhaps not, we are uncertain at this point, though he claims to have a crush on her, despite his girlfriend Megumi. Conehead/Pinhead guy....?????????????????????????????????????????????????? He has only been seen TWICE in artwork, and not once has he spoken in dialogue or been referred to in the novels. Gargoyle/Eddie-looking guy...??????????????????? Not sure, again, never spoken of, and only seen in the above LtA picture (my previous post).
Zazz Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Justice at one point is quoted as saying about him to Ky Kiske, "Remember well, young Knight, even if I die, the Gears will not! As long...as long as that man...still...lives..." does that happen in Justice's AC+ story? or was it retconned away? and also, since Ky "converted" the Thunderseal to save his wife, does that mean the Outrage can never be completed now? (since daisuke wasn't really going anywhere with that storyline, its a good way of cutting it out, now that i think about it)
Blade Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 I don't know, either way...but assuming Sol killed Justice, it's possible that that event didn't happen, but then again he might have spoke with Justice during that time. As for the Outrage, again, nobody knows so it's not safe to assume anything, even retcons at this point.
Chainsaw Guitar Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 http://img380.imageshack.us/my.php?image=solendingcva1su6.jpg Has anyone else noticed how much Sol looks like Kenshiro in that pic?.
kryman123 Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 hey does any body has a translated version of the novel or a summary of it ??
Blade Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Theria said she isn't going to, I guess it doesn't interest her or she's too busy or something. Raging Tofu and I were discussing things/swapping notes so we'll do what we can.
Zazz Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 i was looking over the 50 questions, and after playing over the campaign again i noticed this: Q29: Valentine created the Gear Disappearance Incident in order to obtain the “key” to penetrate the Cube but what was her ultimate goal? A29: I cannot answer regarding her goal. However, she only wanted to pass through the Cube. To her, the Cube was in her fixed commuter route, because it was there she could not proceed… only wanting to proceed on…which is why she tried to penetrate and destroy it. So the Cube was some sort of obstacle toward Valentine's aims. I wonder what lies inside such a thing. Also noting at the end, Sol says that something about the Cube unable to be opened from the inside. Is there something or someONE inside that thing that wants to get out? of course all Daisuke will reveal is that its contents are "information in the Backyard of Earth’s formation"
RockYou424 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 any one has the translated version of manga ? any one??

Nah....
DonMungMung Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 The Black Beast from Blazblue of course! Nah.... Well, That Man didn't want her to succeed, and so I'm kinda assumin' that there's something really horrible inside the Cube. Maybe if it's released it'll be the catalyst for the whole "Man must become more than man, gear must become more than gear" phrase he spouts out at Justice's XX ending. ...Or it really could be the Black Beast from Blazblue Omg, can I put that in my sig? Fuck that, I'm gonna put that in my sig omg that's so awesome ahahahaha EDIT: Wait fuck I forgot that you can't put images in signature space damnit damnit fuck. Gah, but I love that Link picture....ah, fuck it. I'll put it up until the election whooo!
Circuitous Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 DON YOU HAVE MADE A BAD PRESIDENTIAL DECISION. Has anyone else noticed how much Sol looks like Kenshiro in that pic?. Has anyone else noticed how much [anime character a] looks like [anime character b]? (Let's face it, folks, 95% of anime characters are discernible only by their hair.)
