Greetings from Sweden - the too famous community, famous for being true heroes of the game!

We decided to give start giving back to the international community a bit - and what better way than to increase the amount of pure Guilty Gear content out there by doing a podcast about Guilty Gear - in (broken) english! So we present to you:

The Guilty Gear Sweden Podcast!

We have recorded two episodes, or more like one episode that we have divided into two. Our ambition is that this will (at least) be a bi-weekly podcast with releases on Monday afternoon (European time). The podcast will focus on:

• Guilty Gear (AC and AC+R) gameplay discussions.

• Guilty Gear community discussions.

• Joking around and having a good time.

Feel free to suggest more specific topics - gameplay or community related!

To be improved for later episodes:

• Sound quality - one high quality condenser microphone on four people was simply not good enough

• English language skills

• Overall structure of episodes - we need more experience etc.

• Editing - sound levels, cut out redundant parts etc

• Better intro and outro - also better introductions and sign-offs

Funny this happened, when I was going to start one :P.

Anyway, as you even said yourself, it was very general and not that focused. Maybe I expected a bit more, but first episode and such...

Also, do you guys plan to shift to video at some point. It would be helpful for showcasing examples and match analysis.

To be honest - I'm not sure what to think - maybe you just need stronger format and structure. I listened to the Baiken part but it still seemed a bit vague and Zen-like. I didn't walk away with anything to actually change with myself other than "Offense tends to crap out and she has to run away on mixup fail" Which conflicts with other Behaviors I see with other Baikens I know.

I tend to play very scared recently, so people are urging me to go in MAD and work on mastering hitconfirming. I like deliberate playstyle and I don't like hitting many buttons but I like an explosive momentum change. (Litchi can do this, Baiken, too if she gains corner advantage) So sometimes I'm not sure who to trust in these games.

I don't know who your intended audience is - People like me trying to close the skill gap? New players to GG? new players to FG? Vets?

Thank you guys. We´ll make sure to take in all the feedback that we get for the third episode! I agree with pretty much every comment that I have recieved.

Our intended audience is vets and people trying to close the skill gap. So we´ll try to keep it on a mid- to high level. However, sometimes you have to explain some basics in order to give a good explenation.

I think I will release the second episode (aka the second part of the first recording session) next week. So next weeks episode will be 50 minutes on general strengths and weaknesses of Testament and Baiken, and why me and Caer play them. Hopefully these two introduction episodes will help in providing a context, and thus allowing us to go into more in depth on specifics later on.

So yeah, first two episodes: try out. Coming episodes: the real deal.

And DaiAndOh - you should still do your podcast!!!!

And for some episodes we might add video, but most likely we will keep it as a audio only podcasts. But if people request it, we can make video tutorials on certain topics.

I'm trying to learn Testament, I'm pretty new to Guilty Gear though. So I'll make sure to listen to the podcast with Caer.

It's probably about AC+ Testament as opposed to +R testament ?

Hey all, Glenn(MI) here.

I apologize for my monotone and the staggering amount of filler phrases (especially "I mean...") that I needed in order to give myself time to think of what I was going to say. I was crazy tired at the time of recording and having to speak english probably didn't make things a whole lot better. Luckily, I will probably not be a part of these podcasts very often (as I do not live in the same general area as the rest) but if I am, I will make sure to time my bad sleeping habits better and step my shit up.

Also, you guys should seek to promote through social media more as well imo.

So, we're back! This time for the second part of the first recording session. This time, about what Caer and Shinjin like about Testament and Baiken. Also, what Nehle and Millia like to do against Testament and Baiken. This episode will also be in kind of general terms - since it indeed just is the second part of the first recording session.

We'll make sure to take all the feedback that we have gotten for these two, and put together a great third episode! About what, you ask? Next episode will be about the defense! More specifically, wake up. We'll go through most of the options one has on wake up, and hopefully reach some kind of conclusion that has to do with calculating risk and reward. I will also expose a new (for dustloop at least) option select on wake up that is really really good! You don't want to miss Guilty Gear Sweden exposing our own secret tech! And tea cups! So get hype for the third episode, and settle with the second episode for the time being... ETA: April 9th or April 16th...

Before I sign out I will add that we'll most likely not go into any in depth +R-discussions until it has been released on console. But until then we have some more topics that can be applied to both version of the game. And feel free to comment and request topics etc
