Project Reality Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 How do you guys hear his rage? I can never hear peoples mics in BlazBlue.
NecroTheReaper Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 (edited) In Darkassassins room the other day, I had to go turn down all my music and sound lvls to about 15 P.S: the way this game calculates your connection to people is stupid. "Oh, 2 bars, lets lag it up for you. That guy that has nothin is really clean though" Edited August 30, 2013 by NecroTheReaper
hipikachu Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 How do you guys hear his rage? I can never hear peoples mics in BlazBlue. Change all your volume thingies to around 15, and then press Square when you're in a lobby. If you're in a party chat, disable "Prioritize Party Chat" first.
Safros Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 How do you guys hear his rage? I can never hear peoples mics in BlazBlue. I was in a party with him.
hipikachu Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 (edited) I was in a party with him. GGs Safros, Ratix08, Big Nick. Still hurt that you don't remember our gallant encounters back in the day. I swear I've played you before Ratix08 ever had. Edited August 30, 2013 by hipikachu
Safros Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 GGs Safros, Ratix08, Big Nick. Still hurt that you don't remember our gallant encounters back in the day. I swear I've played you before Ratix08 ever had. To be fair, I did confuse you and Hi_Pichu. Well, good games everyone. I do remember some games though, but I also played a lot of Hazama's back then, incuding Blackwing's Hazama and NarukamiV's Hazama.

NecroTheReaper Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Just spent the day at anime fest DFW, any one else here goin? xD
Dreize Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Hah, figured I'd give Zenaku84 a chance but he ragequit on me as well today. Another one bites the dust.

Lord Pwnge18 Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 inb4 the Vita scene is better at the game than console players
Kurushii Posted September 1, 2013 Author Posted September 1, 2013 inb4 the Vita scene is better at the game than console players Ha ha, I don't see any Vita exclusive players winning tournaments.

Assuming that they can play pad, of course. I personally prefer stick, but I can manage on pad. The best part about the Vita version is convenience, by far. I feel much more motivated to practice combos/setups due to easy accessibility. Aesthetically speaking it looks astounding on the Vita as well. And in comparison to it's console counterparts, the Vita's d-pad is far superior in my opinion. In terms of skill level on netplay, the bar is lower then the console versions. This is why I'd say that it's better for new people. However, unless both players have good wireless internet you may experience lag issues. In terms of connectivity it is not as good as a wired ps3/xbox. This is the Vita's biggest issue. Though, the price in comparison to other Vita games isn't too bad either. Last I checked it was $24.99 on the PSN store. If he begins to take the game more seriously I'd recommend the console version, but the Vita version is most definitely a good start. Edit: Also, in-case you're still a bit skeptical. Here is some old Vita netplay footage of mine that I recorded, please forgive the terrible quality. But yeah, you can do anything on the Vita that you can do on the consoles. Edited September 1, 2013 by Dreize
Project Reality Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 The Vita scene is way easier than the consle scene. There are tons of good players on the Vita, but it is not the same as the consle scene. I would get bodied on the consle version. I guess that goes for all fighting games though. In my opinion, BlazBlue doesn't have the worst netcode. I like it.
Lord Pwnge18 Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Ha ha, I don't see any Vita exclusive players winning tournaments. They just haven't shown their ultra-secret underground tech yet
NecroTheReaper Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Indeed, look at my awesome tech with carl in my first match using him https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWnP97078Ck&feature=youtube_gdata_player xD only problem you mighy find is lag abuse, such as that
Blackwing55 Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 They just haven't shown their ultra-secret underground tech yet Actually twice I played tournments unfortunately twice I have placed second. I need to learn how to not choke, for a competitive player I do have that bad habit.

NecroTheReaper Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Hey Pikachu, will you please drop more combos for me? Thx xD
hipikachu Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Hey Pikachu, will you please drop more combos for me? Thx xD No Prom :D Wait.
darkasjinksu§ Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Ha ha, I don't see any Vita exclusive players winning tournaments. To be fair, not a lot of Vita players can play on an arcade stick, and the console D-pads are absolutely abysmal.
InfinityGenesis Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Personally I like the way the Pad on 360 feels. Alas we all know what we find comfortable.
darkasjinksu§ Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Personally I like the way the Pad on 360 feels. Alas we all know what we find comfortable. I... You're joking, yes? Any input past 6, 2, 4, and 8 is extremely difficult to pull off consistently.
hipikachu Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 To be fair, not a lot of Vita players can play on an arcade stick, and the console D-pads are absolutely abysmal. I'm actually trying to learn how right now. Can't say it's not rage-inducing though.
Project Reality Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Good games to rooka0725. He he, nice to see other Arakune players every once in a while.
