White Man Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 EX characters are like a director's commentary track on a Blu-ray release: some people think it adds another layer to the experience, others have no interest and would rather just watch the movie. Either way, it's an optional bonus feature. The movie itself isn't somehow worse without a commentary track, while saying it shouldn't even be on the disc because it "wasn't in theaters" is the most nonsensical argument ever.

Clousephinat Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I'm not saying EX characters are "important", obviously, as long as they still remain as illegal characters there's nothing more than just playing with them against some friend if anything, or go play #R Online (with better connection than AC/+R after all). I said this because in #R there was some characters lacking efficiency like Bridget without 421HS, and if you put him in EX, he's good enough against a normal character since at least he can do the rest of the yo-yo's specials in the air. But of course, is not like Bridget in #R in his normal version is unable to beat good Eddies or Badguys, as well as I-No in Xrd. But if by any chance this would happen, I don't see much of a problem with them becoming legal characters, at least against other EX characters as well.

king of heart Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Cmon Roi!!!!!!! Get in that shit dawg!! Roi is a very good player but he doesn't feel like a Sol specialist like 012. There are many better Sols that deserve to qualify like Machabo, Dogura, and Mugen (i am not sure but i heard that he isn't participating because he's busy with work)

Besides this is like his side game, where BB is his boo thang (love his azrael). Yea your probably right about Roi, but he is my favorite player since +R so I always hope does well. Ill probably go for 012 since he's a very solid player Also I think roi is a better sol than dogura btw and I rather watch him than mugen

Unfortunately most of the stuff we get from japan is from mikado, so other players from different arcades arent showed as much. Do you know where he plays at king?
