And it seems that this misterious woman (El) appears with Sol wishing to beat the crap with her and Sin wanting to protect her, but that's all I've been able to figure out. I can't find the scan yet. Release date for winter 2014 is still there, so we're not supposed to wait long for it unless... ASW are willing to do the same thing they did for the release of the PS3 version of +R.
DaiAndOh Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I'm quite surprised then, not sure about X, but in #R he's one of the few characters that can easily do some air combos after 214HS and one of the few characters that can poison your opponent, I can easily win a match with him without spending too much time. Don't forget XX. Oh boy he can do an air combo. So? Anyway, Alzarath will kill me if I mess this up, but he also had no good anti-air, no meterless way to get people off of him and definitely no forward EXE Beast the god. I don't know the big specifics but at the very least, sounds like bad matchups against Eddie, Millia, and Faust. Don't know about say, Sol, Slayer and Jam as some of the other top tiers though.
Soviet Bear Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 PS4-only special edition makes me sad. On the other hand, PS4 gamepads work on PS3s (and PCs), so I still might get it since I'll eventually be moving to PS4 anyway.

I'm just going to throw out a guess that she'll be a story mode unlock like Kagura and (formerly) Mu-12. This is just baseless speculation, but I know ASW has been doing this recently.

Make it so that if your opponent decides to move anywhere on the screen at all he gets a sword in the butt for his trouble.

"So many" brand new characters? Dude, so far we've gotten two out of a cast of fifteen. I'd argue the game doesn't have enough new characters. As others have said, I'm also hoping the PS3 version gets some sort of LE treatment. If you're going to do a multi-console release, then DO a multi-console release. Don't release the "real" version on one system and then offer a half-assed backup that people are expected to buy in disgrace for being too poor to get the latest console hardware.
