Or they could just make another grappler. We all know how amazing Tager is. He slams people from outer space!

Leo should have been a grappler

I dont understand this argument of "we need another grappler!" More or less, I don't care. Carry on

Judging by the light bar being replaced with the words "Guilty Gear Xrd", I doubt that's a modification.  That piece of the plastic shell probably had to be machined that way.

The options and share buttons look like stickers though.

The light bar text is made with a black sticker. Not that hard to do yourself if you have the tools or access to a printing company.

I actually googled about it and discovered a site where you can buy custom skins for DS4 and PS4 with your own photos. So maybe those were done that way?

It's not something youhavetowonder about (did anyone see what I did there).

EDIT: I think DL needs more of my GG puns. If anything me bringing out my puns around the time of Xrd, is nothing less of *Dead on Time*....

Ooooooh...i read and seen what u did there lol.

2nd. I wouldnt mind another grappler..though i still wouldnt use them lol.

3rd. Mike Z does like the game hen just won't admit it.

4th. Leo gameplay or even in game pics would be great lol

Talk about something relevant please, handing out infractions if you guys don't.

I understand you want the form to be pretty close to topic. But let us have some fun sometimes lol. Long as it dont get to out of hand and eventually goes back to the purpose of the thread :)

So when i started to talk about increasing numbers of Millia players and discussing her gameplay compared to other characters.

The first replay was from a mod saying.

"Yeah she is hot though"

So how do you except regular members to behave ?

Take anything like this to a PM. Post more stuff like this in the thread and I'm just going to start deleting them.

AllyofJustice's latest bout of foolish inanity brings up an interesting viewpoint that many people seem to have about GG: That Potemkin is the only grappler. Wild throw is a key element of Sol's offense. Overhead Kiss is one of the easiest ways for new May players to understand what their options off of anti-air hits are. Bloodsucking Universe started as the single greatest threat in Slayer's arsenal back in XX. Sure it's had many nerfs since those days, but it's still yet another factor you have to be thinking about when Slayer's in your grill. What's the one thing you don't want Zato to land on you while Eddie's out? Damned Fang. Chipp's is a bit unconventional, but the ability to blow up people trying to stick out lows in footsies or defense is certainly a grappler tactic. Don't get me started on Faust. Hell, 1f throws in and of themselves allow the entire cast to use offensive and defensive tactics that would otherwise be exclusive to grapplers in games with slower normal throws. Look at how often Milia lands throws during offense. After all, SF2 Chun-Li and Dhalsim aren't  really considered grapplers yet in a great deal of matchups it's that damnable st.MP/throw OS or meaty slide tickthrows that get the wins.

Xrd's already got seven grounded command grab characters. I-no plays a tech grab game that's like anyone with a Heat Grab/Atomic Collider anyway. So let's say eight. That's about half the cast who honestly we can say are grapplers.

And yes, Iori Yagami is absolutely a grappler. Look at what that son of a gun does in 98UM or 13 with the thing.

Potemkin fits the description of a grappler pretty perfectly: He's a large, slow-moving character with high health, a limited ranged game, and a command grab that nets him a significant amount of damage if he can connect it.  In that respect, he is unique within the cast of GG.  Simply having the ability to use a throw as part of a pressure game doesn't make a character a grappler, just as having a projectile doesn't automatically make a character a zoner.

I think you're going by a rather limited definition of character types.  Potemkin doesn't play exactly like Zangief, but none of the characters in GG play like any SF counterparts you could link them to.  Potemkin has a lot of tools besides his ability to grab people, but that simply makes him a well-designed grappler who isn't locked into one single gameplay mechanic.

A-fuckin-men!

I admit I have a hard time playing Pot, for a number of reasons. But this is exactly something people should know before judging a character by how it looks, what it does, and it's shortcomings.

To some extent, I agree with Pichy actually. Potemkin basically covers the traditional grappler spectrum. Other characters can give you a taste of it with other aspects to their gameplay.

:v: 8+ Hours.... first time I'v seen those Pot/Millia colours aswell (1st match).

Yeah it's funny that last week every match was in a completely separated video.

also Roi achieved a great accomplishment today, he gained my respect.
