EX Bridget can cancel KSMH at any point into Yo-yo placement. It's pretty great.

I apologise. I was running on my own observations and research. They were wrong.

3's meter game leads to way more interesting decision-making than the old "Arturo's going to always be able to afford that Dark Super after he's knocked you down" game of AH1/2.

Attack level determines the hitstun on opponents that are grounded and airborne if the Guard Bar is at the middle or higher. Once it moves below the center, hitstun deteriorates. There's obviously a minimum level hitstun can reach in the air as you can mash j.P for as long as you're in contact with an opponent even when the guard bar is completely depleted. Untechable Time is a fixed variable separate from this that applies to airborne opponents in order to ensure certain things still work once the Guard Bar has started depleting. The attack level's hitstun is then applied after the untechable frames. If this weren't the case, Dustloop would've probably been an infinite until AC worked in extra gravity scaling as well. Untechable Time is an adjustable variable independent of Attack Level. j.D's untech time was adjusted from Vanilla to #Reload, #Reload to Slash, Slash to AC and AC to AC+R. None of those games changed the Attack Level. Just the untech time.

While some of the usual light-weight routes don't work on Faust, his janky aerial hurtbox often allows for way better things to replace them. Shortly after Xrd hit consoles I made a video with some rather crappy examples to get the idea in people's heads. Even from there you can see that the rewards for opening up a grounded Faust can lead to things like meterless/grenadeless Rifle Unblockables, Nobiru tech traps and from memory Vapour Thrust loop. In AC+R Potemkin's special cancellable sweep meant he got Heatgrab on a grounded Faust.

If I wanted George Nakata's dick I could go back to mashing Hoaa or Black Keys. It's the large dick on something that is both female and and robot that make hers so special. EDIT: Starship FRC is fine because Bridget is such a limited character. His options are roughly 1) Hope he scores a knockdown while the Yo-yo's out so he doesn't have to haul ass opening up the opponent and just do Dropbear unblockable. 2) Don't be near the opponent, ever. He has crap damage, crap health, mediocre pressure without resources or a rare situational advantage and pretty much no knockdowns in the places the rest of the cast get 'em. It's all fair enough since it's hard to make Bridget unique without turning him into another Eddie or CS Litchi, but it's also why it's totally justifiable to give him a circular, multi-hit DP with an FRC. Bridget's a death by thousand cuts character who fully expects to play every round the full 99 seconds. Cancelling Kickstart My Heart into Yo-yo sure would've been appreciated though...

Oh come on. Justice's zoning is way more comparable to a Toaplan game with the lowest difficulty dipswitch than a post-2000 title with a polarity function. EDIT: To appease Blade, the new Kaijuu sized Justice must play identical to PTX. Michael Chainsaw.

That'd just be 4 minutes of Robo-ky laughing and you know it. EDIT: But seriously, I've got some ideas. Challenge accepted.

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel
Pichy replied to ivanchu77's topic in Misc Fighter Central
Maybe you should've looked up, say, the official website for information on a game that is currently unavailable in English. -
SF4's not going to cease to exist. PLay that if you want lower damage.

Koihime Enbu is the second iteration. It has no home release at this point.

What's everyone's impression of the AC+R Steam port?
Pichy replied to balFrog's topic in Guilty Gear General
Shadowfury, they patched that issue about 20 hours after launch. You can use whatever input device you prefer now. -
Thanks for the feedback. I've adjusted some of the notes accordingly.

I made this tutorial the other week. Might as well post it in this thread too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj2zoSmV_IU&feature=youtu.be If there's anything anyone here thinks is missing from said vid, let me know so I can make an addendum or link to an example that's already out there. EDIT: As you already know, j.K xx j.214K works at slightly before max range 2H, 5K. What's interesting is that if the full hits connect (only one hit does at max range) and they're mashing airtech, it puts them in a pretty bad spot to mash throw/j.H/j.2H/hairpin. Better than nothing. Obviously, 2H RC 214K~P or YRC, Airthrow's going to be giving better payoffs if you've got the resources.

Sticky please.

I've just finished uploading a practical combo tutorial. If there's anything you think I'm missing I'll happily fix it up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj2zoSmV_IU&feature=youtu.be Oh, and H. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtVvoNlE6cc&feature=youtu.be

Quick video to show the timing on IAD j.H after counterhit 6P. I'll make something more comprehensive later. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qKLAyd2FWg

Even seeing the Newbie Night regulars today's made me happy. - 2H is very alive. - So is 5H xx Pilebunker - Since Kdandy Pilebunker now wallslams, this means 5H xx PB RC KPB 5D 6 cl.S 6H xx Pilebunker is now a thing. - Counterhit 6P IAD j.H seems like it's going to be easier than in AC. - Yes, 2K, 2P 2S 2H j.K > air combo you prefer to do works. Still waiting to see DOT done full screen.

I'm Writing Words About Learning Guilty Gear. Feedback Appreciated.

Still running into people having trouble getting their head around GG's button layout, so I wrote about what each button actually does so people can work out where they're comfortable putting the things. http://pichyandpals.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/guilty-gears-buttons-heres-rundown.html -
It's the best ASW game to never be made by ASW.

This can only mean great things. Great. Things. On a more serious note, Clay Fighter 1 was SF2 with SNK combo theory. C2 was practically the Sailor Moon Fighter. 63 1/3 was Killer Instinct with meter. So the inclusion of anime mechanics continues the series tradition of taking things from other games. Therefore, this is finally America's answer to Chaos Code. Get pumped.
