king of heart Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I think the MVC2 one does. The only ones that I know don't is the first generation SF4 TE and SF4 TE Round Two is wonky but might work if you have a USB 3.0 port. Ones that were released after that should be good. Of course those are the PS3 ones. Xbox sticks works on Windows.
TheRealBobMan Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Thank you for the prompt response. Have there ever been other supers, like Ky's RTL in xrd, that its invincibility to so good it nullifies bursts? Has Potemkin ever been able to FDB bursts? Well, once a super starts the other player's burst is locked so they can't use it, but yes, there are plenty of supers with enough invul to go through a burst if they start to burst before you start your super. Bursts go active on 18 and stay active for 6 frames. If you're doing your super late, odds are you'll be able to meaty through the burst's active frames, but it depends on the super. It's not likely to happen with Millia's Winger since it doesn't have a lot of invul, and it's not likely to work with a move like Venom's Dark Angel either. I'm like 99.999% sure that you can't FDB a burst. If that was possible we'd have a metric ass-ton of footage of FAB doing it to people.

___Chester___ Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Is there any video of PS3 version? I saw only PS4 version...
LockedAndClush Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Is there any video of PS3 version? I saw only PS4 version... Any gameplay video from TGS 2014 is the PS3 version.
Toriel Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Any gameplay video from TGS 2014 is the PS3 version. Any source on this?
___Chester___ Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Any gameplay video from TGS 2014 is the PS3 version. Really? I thought the gameplay videos were the PS4 version...
TrueStyle Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Ps4 Demo coming this tuesday. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-11-22/guilty-gear-xrd-sign-ps4-demo-heads-to-ps-plus-on-tuesday/.81343 i hope ps3 will get one D:
LockedAndClush Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Any source on this? A lot of people from the community that were there. It supposedly displayed that the version they're playing is the PS3 version. EDIT I just had a few words with a buddy of mine who was at TGS, so I want to clear things up. They supposedly had both the PS3 and PS4 versions there. This alone would pretty much confirm that the games are, for the most part, identical, since barely anyone seems to have noticed. He's pretty sure he played the PS3 version, because compared to the arcade version he's been playing quite a bit of, it looked pretty much the same, and the later released PS4 demo had just a little bit smoother picture to him. So, outisde of the resolution, the versions appear more or leass identical. No 30FPS bullcrap or other gimping. If we have anyone who's been to TGS/knows people who were to TGS here, I'd appreciate someone confirming (or denying), just to be sure.
king of heart Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I feel like some people wants the PS3 version to be 30fps just so that they say that they were right.
Layer Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 This topic never gets old does it? Here's ElvenShadow's recording of the game running on PS3 at TGS. Make of it what you will.
Henaki Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 cool, i just got my ps4, ill burn my free trial of psn a couple weeks early to try it
Jakestation Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I feel like some people wants the PS3 version to be 30fps just so that they say that they were right. Or just to boost their ego that they have ps4 and going to buy that version.

werewolfgold Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I don't think this is been posted yet, so if it's old, then sorry. But, I have no idea when it was updated. The special edition Sanwa stick has pictures of all three faceplates now, if some people were interested in obtaining it. http://ebten.jp/p/7015014091001/ lol @ the 3rd one. The plates are definitely more interesting than the Madcatz one in my opinion...
Blade Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Yeah, that pic of Chipp's Presidential Secretary with the 3rd Eyeglass... that guy's name is "Answer" (as in Question and Answer heheh). Also, friendly reminder that you CANNOT Blitz Shield Overdrives! :D
UltimaOriginal Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 lol @ the 3rd one. The plates are definitely more interesting than the Madcatz one in my opinion... Not suuure, but... lopsided character screen confirmed? Only 17 characters are depicted here.
Blade Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Yeah, pretty sure (as I predicted) there would be at least 4 new characters (Bedman, Sin, Elphelt, and Leo) besides the boss (Ramlethal). I'm not sure they'll do any more until the next game after GGXrd. (Dizzy and Jam are high possibilities due to popularity) Most GG rosters are lopsided anyway. I miscounted, shutup.
werewolfgold Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Not suuure, but... lopsided character screen confirmed? Only 17 characters are depicted here. Well, you know... It does say that the design may be slightly different. It could be a plant to throw people off until they get it, at which point maybe another new character will be revealed and another small circle added into the new characters group... ...Or not. But, I dunno how the layout of the character select screen is going to look when Leo is added. Even if there have been odd numbered select screens in the past, they were still designed to be visually balanced.
Mumm-Ra Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 So how does it work? I preordered mine, does this mean that it comes with 3 swappable plates?
Tenj|n Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 It should come with the plates, the link did mention the plate designs were subjected to changes when it first surfaced a few months back?
werewolfgold Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 So how does it work? I preordered mine, does this mean that it comes with 3 swappable plates? Yeah. That was the deal from the get go. That's part of the reason I thought it was worth it.
Pichy Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 For the record, X, Vanilla XX and Isuka were the only games with an even roster. I would imagine that part of the reason for that distinct character select screen in X through to Slash was that it looked cool regardless of whether it had symmetry.
antonymichiru Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 hi guys this will be my first guilty gear and I'm so hyped :D but I don't know who play with... When I lived in Japan I used to play with chipp but my playing style is more like amane or yukiko character. So my question is: is there any zoning character in gg xrd ??
