This is kinda making me nervous. 60fps please. I can get over the speed of the game and the cringe-worthy dub, all I want is 60fps and a good netcode (on the PS3 version) It's been confirmed numerous times that the PS3 version is/will be fine. Calm down people, please.
king of heart Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Sometimes i really wish that the game was a PS4 exclusive since people tend to complain about the resolution or how many frames per second instead of just being thankful that the console they actually own is getting the game.

The slowdowns when two supers happen at the same time were something frequent? Also are the words Kangoku Senkan good? These are high on my list. It defaults to English every time no matter what for the opponent? That IMO is guaranteed to be patched out if true. It doesn't default to anything, it really is based on what each player has set.

But it's really just a couple of days away. Two/three years ago if someone told me that a new Guilty Gear will get released (and is a fighting game), I'd laugh in their face. And cry a lot later. But it's here and damn, it looks good. Also, I saw confirmation on Twitter that we'll be able to switch the in game display between PlayStation buttons and good ol' PKSHSD. A minor thing, but really welcome, seeing squares and triangles in the demo was surprisingly cringeworthy.

Since in Tutorial Mode you could open the menu and read Sin's command list. Not discussing the dub, I'm discussing the options and how it affects multiplayer - I still haven't even heard the dub. Thanks for the clarification anyway. But no I much rather prefer it set to what each player has set. I find it more interesting that way, even if I dislike the dub.

If I have two controllers can a friend and I fight each other in Arcade mode? Or is demo lamely locked down to the point where you can't do that? Versus mode isn't an option after all.

I agree that Xrd's dub is terrible and shouldn't even be compared to BB's near-perfect dub, but there is still dual audio. You just have to tell everyone that gets the game to immediately SWITCH TO JPN voices. The voices won't "destroy" the game, just make it less appealing. People will still buy the game because of the fancy anime graphics, although the awkward translation and dub are a huge turn-off. I still choose to believe Guilty Gear has a chance of being really successful (maybe even reaching SF level someday). GG was pulling in numbers easily equal to any SF game in it's heyday, outside of evo. Many major tournaments we would actually have the most players of any tournament. @The DMK- Kono Walchuck will be throwing down with me as well, and he is really one of the grandaddy's of all American GG.

No, the only options you have in the demo is Tutorial, Sol Arcade and Ky Arcade. You can't press Start on a second controller or anything like that.

Nope, the list in JP (which can be toggled on that page for either EN or JP) doesn't have ":D" <- as that though, and yeah, the usual list in JP does have some English ones in their names, but replaced by titles that make sense or changed for w/e. Anyways, that's a big banner there, also, so close to release! (2 days as of Ky's voice from the JP Xrd site.)
