Alkipot Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 If this question has been answered already I apologize, but I gotta know: Will the PS4 be getting a six button pad anytime soon? I still have and actively use a Sega Saturn pad for fighters, and the PS4 controller is a no can do for fighters for me. I haven't used a stick since arcades were popular. I'm old. I still have my PS3 but I'd rather go with the "best" version of this game. I hear there are converters but my Saturn pad seems to be crapping out slowly and I don't wanna waste the money if it's on its last legs... but shit, I might just have to...

You better don't use converters, they put a lot of input lag, plus the netplay lag and your experiencie will be garbage.
Chaoschao222 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Alright Blade I'm moving it to the Zepp Museum. It will be deleted.
Anne Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Grumble fine it can stay. But seriously you guys have to stop talking about the dub/sub shit in here.
Circuitous Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 There's a thread specifically for discussing the dub. Discuss the dub there, so that people who want to discuss the dub will see it and discuss it with you. Don't clutter this thread up with things for which a thread already exists. The last few pages of dub discussion was moved to that thread, so go read it there if you're interested.
Aze Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Someone said Sin's Instant Kill was called "Raideen"... and I was like.... whaaaat? I jumped to a completely different conclusion.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I don't even play this character and this never gets old: http://38.media.tumblr.com/4f9c26ec31fc3032ff38174c86b32600/tumblr_nds8cpTj3q1sdouqio1_500.gif

The JP LE version of Xrd comes with a 6 button fightpad. I am not sure but i think I heard that it will be available for sale separately later.
FattMatt1887 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 There is also the Hori Fighting commander 4 which is compatible with the PS4.
Soviet Bear Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 So, I finally managed to set aside money yesterday and buy some PSN yen cards, but the game isn't available in the store anymore? Like, I am guessing (hoping) they're letting you buy the game on the day of the release, but what the hell? Why turn off pre-orders? There is also the Hori Fighting commander 4 which is compatible with the PS4. I got mine this weekend. I'm quite enjoying it. D-pad is good when you adjust it to your style. buttons are nice and big. It's sadly a bit too light for my tastes, but nothing worse than the DS3. Also works properly with PS3, except for the "PS" button.
Zedar90 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Leo will be released on the 18th of December in Japan. He will cost 800 yen. http://blog.livedoor.jp/od3/archives/52100518.html

Like, I am guessing (hoping) they're letting you buy the game on the day of the release, but what the hell? Why turn off pre-orders?The pre-order window ended on the 30th. They kept it to a specific time-frame because the pre-orders included bonuses (free Elphelt and entry into a drawing for signed merchandise). You'll still be able to buy it digitally on the day it releases.
Soviet Bear Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I figured it was something like that, but thank you for the confirmation.
LockedAndClush Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Does the preload work for you guys already? It was supposed to be avaiable 5 hours ago, but I have no way to check.
Circuitous Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I started my download about five hours ago, yeah. Already installed.

NeoStrayCat Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Didn't expect him to be so early. Probably gonna be used as a yardstick for future DLC. So everyone buy him. Yeah, no gameplay/style of him yet, but hopefully soon, since his release date is mentioned, now I wonder, will we get him early on US release (since the DLC comes 2 days before from 12/16), or maybe a week after? Who knows...The wait continues.

NeoJET Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Leo will be released on the 18th of December in Japan. He will cost 800 yen. http://blog.livedoor.jp/od3/archives/52100518.html Leo has a stance that he turns his back to the opponent, in this stance, he can't jump and guard, instead of that, he has very powerful close range attack, and he also has a special move in the stance that can move to the opponent's back. Not only close range attack, he also has good long range attack and anti-air. The weather in Leo's stage will be changed by time. Try to translate the info with my poor English, hope you guys can understand.
king of heart Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Maybe we will see some on Arc Live that is streamed tomorrow. Or maybe on this weeks Blue Radio. Edit: Some scans(photo) found on a Japanese thread Those moves looks scary as hell!
Poultrygeist Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 So his stance gives him a cross up move?
Yukikaze Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Seems pretty cool, That screen size projectile looks scary especially if its not an overdrive. I didn't expect him to have long range.
SoWL Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Apparently, Leo's stance is called Brunhilde. Does that mean that we're going full opera references here? It just had to happen right after I picked the best Chinese Powerpoint opera simulator there is
