Does anyone know who the hell is voicing Venom? I feel ashamed that I'm unable to tell by ear, but he literally has a different voice every time I hear him due to awful direction. He sounds like Grant George when he says "Let's break.", but every other time he sounds like some weird Spike Spencer/Lucien Dodge hybrid. This is bothering me so much. Pls halp.

I don't like Ramlethal's voice at all.  I imagine the intention was to make her come across as robotic and emotionless, but she just sounds bored.  

Play Sol's story mode.  After the fight she states that the outcome of the fight did not matter and stuff like that. So I would bargain that she IS bored.

I'm giving the chosen cast the benefit of the doubt.  This is their first time voicing such weird characters with unique nuances...

 

Give em time to grow in to their roles and they'll do better in the next installment.

I admit it might be the case... it's probably because we're used to hear Suwabe's Venom who's MUCH deeper.

Like I said, when he talked normally, he sounded better than when he was trying to be hissy or whatever it is he's doing cuz that made him terrible, and I wasn't expecting him to sound deep in the first place.

Sounds adequately goofy. I kind of want to hear more of everybody though. (Sol, Ky, and Sin are pretty sufficient to make a judgement on.)

I heard that  David Vincent is the one voicing Faust, but I could be wrong, he does sound a lot like him though, but that's just my hearing.

Millia sounds... vaguely British?  The hell?

 

Yeah, this one was weird for me at first too, but then I remembered that she was kidnapped by the assassins guild.  Since she didn't grow up in an environment to develop a Russian accent, this kinda makes sense.  As long as she can act appropriately I'm fine with this.

 

May was another one that was strange for me at first, but after hearing her voice for a while it grew on me and I like it more than the JPN version.  She's significantly older, so I don't want her to sound like a 5 year old sucking helium.  I also like Chipp more than the JPN version just because I didn't like his new JPN voice.

 

 

But uh... since I main I-No and was most interested in trying out Ramlethal, Elphelt, and Venom, I'm probably going to switch to JPN voice over.  I can't stand that "Don't just stand there" on every STBT.  That's more a problem with the audio leads implementing the recorded clips that way, but then Venom... oh sweet merciful crap.  I'm hoping Elphelt sounds good.

Is there a clip of English Chipp on Youtube anywhere?  Haven't had the chance to hear him yet, and he's the only one I think I've missed so far.  Faust is FANTASTIC, and while I-No and Ramlethal weren't exactly what I was hoping for, they're fine enough that I can stand listening to them for as much as I'm going to play them, since Ram is going to be my #1 main and I'm interested in I-No now that her execution requirements have gone down a bit.  Really interested in how Elphelt and Leo will sound.  I'd love for Elph to be Christine Marie Cabanos if they could get her, since she'd nail Elphelt's gushing over love and weddings just as well as she nailed Mako's signature crazy speeches, but we'll see in a couple of weeks.
