LeDom Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Got up to episode 4 of the Chono Phantasma part of the story and so far, the acting is still same-old awesome BB. Hearing Bang kinda hurt but everyone else was really on point. Hibiki sounds pretty good too. How about Celicia and Nine ( if they've actually showed up) ? And I was hoping Steve Kramer would sound better in story mode ...has there been any official reason explaining why Tony Oliver was (seemingly) permanently replaced?

I heard Celicia in tutorial mode and she sounds quite nice. I believe it was because Tony was doing ADR work at the start of the dub process and couldn't afford to leave them.
Tokkan Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Celica appears to be voiced by Carrie Savage. By process of elimination, that would mean Amanda C. Miller's role is Nine. Though I would probably have to hear Nine's voice first to confirm.

Tokkan Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Okay, I heard Nine's voice. She sounds almost exactly like Sully from Fire Emblem Awakening so I'm guessing she is indeed voiced by Amanda C. Miller. So in recap, new NPC voices are as follows: Celica: Carrie Savage Nine: Amanda C. Miller Hibiki: Steve Staley (? I think? Sounds a hell of a lot like him) Just need to hear Homura.

Shame that I couldn't meet Troy Baker the last few weeks ago, I was gonna spoil it for him or, when I did, get him to try and say he doesn't wanna talk about it, in which case I already know he's involved somehow. Oh well.

Whoever it is, it's definitely not Mona Marshall. Sounded more like Cindy Robinson (Labrys) using her V.V. voice. I'm always confused when people say Ken and Fuuka are voiced by Mona Marshall and Mela Lee, because neither of them sounded a single bit like those VAs.

LeDom Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 So the Ultrachen stream mentions that MOST of the english cast returns...I'm really wondering who was replaced from the first game because my one doubt was Troy Baker's Kanji and in the IGN english footage, it sure sounded like it was still him. But hey, maybe it just means that Matt Mercer got even better at impersonating him

People need to get their sources right. They need to have one to get it right. IIRC, that scene was a circlejerk on the both the players and Aksys' end.
